Israel takes survivors of Holocaust for granted

06-08-2008 10:57

In relation to the the governmental investigative commission in the matter of assistance to Holocaust survivors, the Dorner Commission concluded that the allocations given to the survivors must be linked to 75% of the allowance paid by Germany to Israel for each survivor. however, the Israeli government has decided to postpone discussion of these recommendations to 2009 means delaying implementation by one year, which means disinheriting thousands more survivors from what they deserve, as time acts to the detriment of the survivors, almost all of whom have reached an advanced age.

The death of Solzhenitsyn & the passing of good prisoners.

04-08-2008 17:42

"think about it"
As we all know Aleksandr Isayevich Solzhenitsyn has died. With his passing we all have opportunity to comment on Gulags and the mechanisms of state terror & control used to create and maintain the Soviet system & also a duty to apply such criticisms to the mechanisms of state terror & control used to create and maintain Western hegemonies.

The best way to do that in my opinion is not to wax overly lyrical in phrase or wade needlessly deep in intellectual erudition. All we need do is cast a quick eye over how today the West as Russia prepares to lay Solzhenitsyn to rest.

The History of stealing ideas - an anniversary

31-07-2008 17:24

On this day the 31st of July in 1790, one Samuel Hopkins (aged 47) made a piece of history when his improved method "in the making of Pot ash and Pearl ash by a new Apparatus and Process" became the first US patent with George Washington's signature. This was a way of protecting Samuel Hopkins improvement of an Ethiopian idea which had been used globally for several hundred years. A important milestone in the history of property as theft had been passed.

"As of February 2008, the PTO has granted over 7,950,000 patents"

We now live in a world where everything from gizmo to gimmick, nicknack to genetic code is filed away under a patent or patent-pending.

Another Letter For The Pope And For Ireland

Another Letter For The Pope And For Ireland

While the White Pope plays the PR game at home the Black Pope does the biz abroad.
Nothing new in East Timor, Vietnam, Rwanda or Croatia

The following Letter appeared in the Irish Independent dated Wednesday 30th of July 2008. Its contents , which I believe, and which, apart from other references , is intelligible, hinge not too remotely on Papal hypocrisy as well as the infinite depravity of my country under the Papacy’s influence. The Popes even give Caesar a bad name!

He has been on death row at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth, Kan., since April 1988.

"While approving a sentence of death for a member of our armed services is a serious and difficult decision for a commander in chief, the president believes the facts of this case leave no doubt that the sentence is just and warranted,"..........."The president's thoughts and prayers are with the victims of these heinous crimes and their families and all others affected," White House press secretary Dana Perino said.

Yet in Freemasons Hall, Dublin, home of the world's second oldest Grand Lodge, the Holy Royal Arch Room contains two large sphinxes and other sculptures aping Ancient Egypt. In Philadelphia, USA, the Masonic Temple boasts 'the finest specimen of Egyptian decoration outside Egypt'. Even London's Great Eastern Hotel at Liverpool Street station has a magnificent Egyptian Temple for lodges to rent for their ritual 'nights out'.

It all ends with a T-shirt - Chavez & the King of Spain hug & make up.

25-07-2008 14:50

neither of them do shut up. therein lies the twain lie of global class war
The Spanish speaking world gave the English speaking world a simple phrase to remember & as many millions did put on their mobile as a ringtone at the 17th Iberian Americas summit in 2007. Hugo Chavez speaking out of turn heckled the Spanish PM Zapatero gurgling away in fine form over how Aznar was a fascist. To which Zapatero (ZP) replied in exasperation that Aznar had been democratically elected (presumedly by the fascist half of Spain's voters). Hugo "the man" Chavez didn't stop his harrangue. Finally the King of Spain, Mr Bourbon shouted "porque no te calles" complete with upside down question and exclamation marks in the familiar form meaing "Why don't you shut up?!"

"La Pastora Durrut" of the Maquis a heroic story of autonomy.

20-07-2008 17:28

a brave man who lived and fought bravely for liberty in a darkened age.
Hopefully later this year will see a book by José Calvo published which draws on files and archives and interviews and his own attendence as a youth at a trial of one of the "Maquis" those guerillas who offered the last organised resistance against Franco and fascism in Spain from the end of WW2 and the vain hope that the allies would re-establish the legitimate republic through to their dwinding end in the 60's.

His book will at last tell the story of One of the Maquis who has long needed reclaiming from the lies and distortions of the past.

An individual who took the nom de guerre as a Maquis, or member of the AGLA (usually denominated as communist), of "Durruti" (after the honoured Barcelona anarchist). Before that at the age of 32 he had taken the equally momenous step of taking the name "Florencio" in replacement of the "Teresa" which his parents upon seeing his genital malformation had registered on his birth certificate "to avoid later complications" & it was said "military conscription".

"El Solitario" goes down : was he the last "anarcho-bank" robber?

20-07-2008 11:12

I reckon this tale is more ephemeral than educational. I do not publish it with the intention of encouraging youngsters interested in anarchism to go robbing banks or shooting cops - but I do think it is ephemera worthy of its archiving on an English language Indymedia.

The last week saw the Spanish state, its armed police Guardia Civil, and media establishment put away Jaime Giménez Arbe a bank robber known as "el Solitario" after his extradition from Portugal on charges of murder (of 2 Guardia Civil agents). He had run rings around the Spanish authorities in a career which saw him alledgedly commit over 30 armed robberies in the Spanish state in a period of 15 years.

He declared himself to be an Anarchist & addressed the court in Spanish and Arabic.

Is the 9/11 "Pentagon Hole" a Psyop to Distract from Real Questions?

18-07-2008 13:24

It's understandable some believe "no 757" hit the Pentagon due to the heavy promotion of that idea, but there's no actual evidence. The theory is being used to mock and discredit the 9/11 Truth Movement, & to give Congress and the media a reason to avoid real questions about 9/11. The military drilled for 9/11-style attacks, & they came after years of warnings that Al Qaeda intended to hijack planes for missiles.

UK German moronic monarchists - vicious brutal stupid and one of the same

08-07-2008 15:13

England is probably the reason why the US behaves like a butcher who always resorts to violence or genocidal intervention across the free world. It is following England as its weak mother country as it has a history of colonial warmongering, stealing resources and wealth and subjecting populations to genocide to gain economic advantage in the middle east, India, Africa and more recently under the illustrious leader Margaret Thatcher in Indonesia, Burma and Haiti. England has a despicable history matched only by the US, which is beginning to reveal the traits of its birth. The theory is the Nazis were led by these idiotic Royals who now just preside at Windsor

BBC Claims WTC7 Collapse 'Solved'

05-07-2008 19:23

Note that the BBC has recently claimed that it "lost" the tapes in which they were caught reporting on the collapse of Tower 7 BEFORE it actually fell.

Sorry, but you simply don't lose tapes of major events, and they are always backed up in the event of damage or loss.

(Note to the BBC: It's already been solved. It was brought down in a controlled demolition, and the evidence proves this. The only questions remaining now are, was it the CIA or the Mossad, and why was an investigation blocked by the Fascists who used this 'useful crisis' to start multiple, illegal wars ... ?)
