Many articles have been written on the tactic of pervasive and continuous debt as a form of economic social management. However, few financial ‘wizards’ and politicians understood the ramifications of such a tactic. To meet regular needs average people have been forced to borrow at rates never before seen. As a result of the created necessity to borrow large amounts and the ease of obtaining large loans, a rapid increase in loan defaults is occurring. Perhaps statistical information on the ‘spike’ in long term debt servicing and mortgagee defaults highlights the failure of the debt strategy. Hailed at the time as the optimum method of economic and social management, today it is proving to be just another strategy of big business appropriating more at the expense of EVERYTHING and everyone else.

The US embargo on trade with Cuba continues. This summer Pastors for Peace will again challenge the blockade with a friendship caravan. A fully stocked bookmobile will accompany it. Before the revolution there were only 32 libraries in Cuba. In 2002 there were 400 public libraries and 6000 school libraries. Cubans are avid readers and life long learners but Cuban librarians struggle to meet their needs under the blockade. We urge you join us in sending books to Cuba!

Few even know her name but she was responsible for the Roman Empire enduring for another fifteen hundred years as a theological empire. Most people and historical texts mistakenly refer to the Roman Emperor Constantine as the person who transformed the militaristic Roman Empire into the Holy Roman Empire, however, he was only a manipulated mommy’s boy.

As the wall approaches, or rather as we speed recklessly toward it, it serves no purpose to analyse how a nation, trillions of dollars in debt, remains in a position to offer billions to its enemies and try and buy its way out of inevitable collapse. The buy-off strategy is not new, what is new however is that the offers are rejected – no amount of money could buy Kosovo from Serbia, what are a people without a heart or national identity? Condi Rice, with Israel’s whole-hearted support, today openly offered to buy-off Palestinians in the vain hope that western influence could be maintained in the region. For numerous reasons this strategy will also fail.

Remember the computer vote fraud scams, amongst others, that "won" the USA election for those few criminals machinating the lobby groups that machinate some of the "neo-cons" in the administration. . . . latest news shows that the "cover-ups" expose the "cunning plots", plotters, etc. further all the time !

The person/s (activists, perhaps assassins) the agencies seek in relation to the approaching APEC summit may be known to the activist and broader political community; it is therefore with extreme prejudice that we cite government failures in relation to security and policing matters. The APEC summit may become the greatest security failure in Australian history. Infiltration/undercover operations are a two-edged sword; however, that sword has been broken by anti-corruption zealots in NSW. The State now faces gaping inefficiencies and a lack of urgently required expertise.

As the Middle East explodes in factional and sectarian conflict the neo-cons gloat, John Bolton and Condi Rice revealed U.S. policy during the South Lebanon conflict, their non-interventionist policy encouraged the slaughter of children and civilians by Israeli forces – peace is clearly of no use to American interests! What does it matter if most of the Middle East tears itself apart, America stands to gain from the mayhem and bloodshed.

. . . . see the intriguing, wiser treatment of at least a couple of the recent pieces in the coverage of the latest attempts to whip bits of the middle east into a distraction from continuing arrests, revelations etc about the puppet neo"cons",in the states, with odd names of recent arrests, inquiries etc in the uk getting nearer to the sad facts at the back of a lot of "spooky" front tales. . . .minderbinder warbux "opinion influencers"spin into news despite media stooge"cult" bunch. gotcha. . . .

Two events in particular typify the modern age, the exploitation or rather the reduction of poor, exploited and victimised humans as body part suppliers -- kidneys in particular -- and the vacuous, worthless celebrity of a no-talent, mindless, American rich girl whose presence in the mass media is constant. While millions suffer injustices, tortures and hardships, Paris Hilton is served for mass consumption; coverage of the horrific trade in living human body parts is avoided for obvious and shameful reasons!

Last night on newsnight Peter Oborne, a Daily Mail political columist said "It's the job of the press to bring to light falshoods". It's a shame the idea wasn't applied to the article below.
Published in print and on the web, it deals with the blockade protests against the G8 held on Wednesday 6th June. I saw a copy of it last night and was astounded at the shoddy quality of the journalism. I find it hard to believe that someone was actualy paid to produce such a mixed up shambles of misinformation and mistake.
It contains around 13 serious factual errors. This is a shocking number of mistakes for any article.
The Daily Mail does not have a good record when it comes to accuracy and G8 protests. This article confirms that their reporting should not be believed. Over 2.3 Million people read the Daily Mail...

Republican president Bush follows Democrat president Clinton’s course in the Balkans; oil pipelines and gas supplies take precedence over every other consideration including international law and the sanctity of human life. Bush has challenged Russia, Serbia and International Law by announcing during his recent visit to Albania that Kosovo, a Serbian province, would become independent in the near future, negotiations must result in “certain independence ... that’s what’s important to know”, he said! Bush’s grammatically woeful statements beg the question, why the need for negotiation if the Texan president insists that independence is “certain” for Kosovo -- which remains Serbian sovereign territory?

The masses are considered to be moronic by political strategists and analysts of almost every persuasion and it’s easy to understand why. In full view of EXPOSED criminal governments, wholesale plunder, global exploitation, outrageous ‘salary’ contracts (hundreds of millions for corporate directors) the people, the herd, the sheep, the slaves, the ‘work force’ -- or whatever other fitting derogatory description you care to make -- sit in their socially underprivileged spaces eating ‘shit’, relatively speaking! In no way or by any stretch of the human imagination is a person who earns 100K/annum hundreds of thousands of times the inferior of a person who earns tens or hundreds of million per year – that is patently obvious YET the sheeple tolerate that inequity and much more.

A meeting of the the worlds "key economies" is taking place, when it is clear to all economists, most people in the "cash industry", - most national leaders too - that the way it is structured at present is - almost for the sake of its loopholes,( to allow actual criminals a cash-laundry taxhaven loot hoarding effect,) for all serious purposes, inadequate - but the media havent raised this key question once.

SYDNEY-- A comment by Catholic Archbishop George Pell directed at Catholic Premier, Morris Iemma and other Catholic politicians, is clearly an attempt by the church to interfere with matters of State. Is this a case of an insular Cardinal pining for the good ol’ days when the Holy Roman Empire ruled Europe with a corrupt iron cross or is it a case of blatant religious hypocrisy? Perhaps the Cardinal’s comments, relating to stem cell issues, constitute a clear case of criminal blackmail – legal advocates may find a prime target in Cardinal Pell. A legal action could be interpreted as the State clearly delineating a distinction between matters of church and matters of State – Cardinals may discover they can’t have their cake and eat it with impunity!

A view from the outside is far more revealing than the myopia offered from within. We are all apt to overlook the elephant for its trunk or ears when we are drawn too near a subject/object. In such a distorted world teacup ‘storms’ appear as hurricanes; the loss of perspective is the precursor to the loss of FREEDOM as the scope narrows, so our consciousness. Few in Oz seem to be aware that the opposition Labor party no longer has an ideological platform, the values of the traditional Australian Labor Party have been jettisoned for short-term gain, opportunism and expediency!

The infamous Balibo murders perfectly illustrate Australian cowardice and Indonesian barbarity. It should be stated from the outset that the truth of the cold-blooded murder of the Balibo five has been known since the day of the crime in 1975. The cringing attitude displayed by successive Australian governments toward the barbaric Indonesians has made Australia a laughing stock in Asia. All successive Labor and Liberal governments that perpetuated the lie of a tragic accident (caught in a cross-fire) are guilty of criminal suppression of the truth and criminal collusion with the murderers -- grubby oil deals notwithstanding.

The Guardian was today strongly criticised by CASMII for republishing unsubstantiated Bush Administration propaganda on its May 22 edition.
It is feared that the front page article which lacked basic journalistic professionalism, will be used to provide justification for an escalation of the US military surge in Iraq and possible military action against Iran.
