Dismayed by the the lack of hemp on this site

this is regarding the serious lack of hemp in the environmental movement. although it would also help just about every other grassroots movement. i would have thought that being alternative media, there'd be something on hemp. i was especially surprised by the sister site

Solidarity would be hugely appreciated as India's Supreme Court looks like it is going to rule in favour of mining corporation Vedanta to be able to mine the Niyamigiri Hills in Orissa, which will mean the death of thousands of people and will set a precedent for the mining of all of India's forests.

On October 10, the BBC’s Ten O’Clock News led with the story that a High Court Judge had found nine “errors” in Al Gore’s climate film, ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, which the UK government has been sending to schools around the country. In north Germany more than 5,000 people (police say 2,000) took part on Saturday 13 October in a demonstration against a planned final nuclear dump in the former Schacht KONRAD iron ore mine in Salzgitter.

The demo was called by an action coalition of environment groups, trade unions and initiatives.
