A subdued start to a good ride, held up by a massive traffic jam in the Strand, but it livened up later with a bike high in Piccadilly Circus and taunts to impatient car horns. Joyful chants of 'More bikes less cars' and 'Whose streets? Our streets'.

Jonny was found guilty of "blackmail" for his role in the (successful) Newchurch campaign and Natasha has been charged with conspiracy to blackmail Huntingdon Life Sciences and has been remanded in custody.

ANIMAL rights protesters arrested last week have today criticised police for detaining them, claiming they have done nothing wrong. The pair were arrested in Alver Road, Gosport, on Friday for the second time in nine months, but told The News they have never acted illegally... The arrests were part of Operation Achilles, a major police operation across the south targeting suspected animal rights extremists.

A member of Coventry Animal Alliance has written the following appeal, on behalf of the 6 defendants currently on trial(at Birmingham Crown Court) for taking part in peaceful protests outside Sequani, an animal testing lab in Ledbury. This was originally written primarily for the attention of animal rights groups, but it is of equal relevance to any group or individual who has an interest in justice.

around 200 people arrived in trafalgar square and began a roam around the socpa zone. later in the afternoon the peaceful protestors were attacked by territorial support group officers, and brian haw was injured in a targetted attack
