US Military Aggression in Somalia: airstrikes on two sites

10-01-2007 11:45 | Anti-militarism | World

The US has initiated a new military aggression against a sovereign country, in defiance of international law, using the threat of "Islamic terrorism" as a pretext. The threat of this illusive outside enemy is fabricated. Washington's hidden agenda is to create instability in the Horn of Africa, a region rich in oil resources, with a view to eventually justifying military intervention under a bogus UN humanitarian mandate.

No threat, No attack - but US opens fire in Somalia

09-01-2007 16:35 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | World

What in reality happens is the US junta usurping the national resources of Somalia - including oil. Again using the by themselves made 'false flag' waving bogeyman "al Qaeda" as the usual and worn out pretext to cover their crimes against humanity. Don't they know what revenge is? Or do they think everybody else is stupid? Well: most people are not...

The American ‘Think Tank'

09-01-2007 14:18 | Analysis | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | World

The world can hardly wait to hear Bush’s new plans for the continued occupation of Iraq. With an official Iraqi death toll exceeding 655,000, social anarchy and failed state status fast approaching, the Bush regime has NOTHING to skite about and no where to go but HOME. The whole disastrous intervention in Iraq is living proof that myopic criminal endeavours always end in tragedy for the people. We recall that U.S. invading forces were under strict orders to secure one site only, the OIL MINISTRY in Baghdad – how telling! From the first day analysts were under no illusions as to the real intentions of the invaders – PLUNDER – the appropriation of Iraq’s most valuable resource.

Federalism: A Solution More for Israel than for Iraq

09-01-2007 09:39 | Anti-militarism | Anti-racism | Palestine | World

Revealing both the double standards of U.S. policies and the propaganda-oriented Israeli advocacy of “minority rights” in the Arab world, the U.S.-allied Iraqi Kurdish and sectarian leaders reacted angrily to James Baker-Lee Hamilton report because it recommended what they perceived as a possible American retract from federalism in Iraq and the Israeli Jews condemned as a catastrophic declaration of war an Israeli Arabs’ “future visions” because those visions could lead to a “federal” Israel.

Israel has plans for nuclear attack on Iran

08-01-2007 09:43 | Anti-militarism | Other Press | Sheffield | World

A report in yesterday’s London-based Sunday Times revealed that the Israeli military has been training to use tactical nuclear weapons against Iran’s uranium enrichment plant at Natanz and other nuclear facilities. Based on several Israeli military sources, the article said two air force squadrons were involved, with the preparations being overseen by air force commander Major General Eliezer Shkedi.

Verification

08-01-2007 01:30 | Analysis | Anti-militarism | Other Press | World

The (unused) rushed delivery of 30 ‘bunker busters’ (tactical nuclear weapons) to Israel by the USA during the South Lebanon conflict seemed unwarranted at the time but today the murky machinations of the ultra-right forces of Zionism and the Washington neo-cons, become clear. The PNAC agenda (specifically Middle East domination) also adds credence to what would seem to be a delay in plans; due principally to Israel’s unsuccessful foray against Iranian backed Hezbollah, in South Lebanon.

Israel Divulges Plan to Nuke Iran

07-01-2007 14:38 | Anti-militarism | World

Nuke
Not to worry. The “mini-nukes” Israel will use against Iran’s Natanz facility and the heavy water reactor at Arak “would each have a force equivalent to one-fifteenth of the Hiroshima bomb,” thus we should not worry about the downwinders, mostly Iranians.

On New Year’s Eve, a series of eight bombs exploded in the Thai capital of Bangkok, killing three people and injuring another 37. All the bombs were relatively small. Six were timed to go off simultaneously in the early evening. The remaining bombs were triggered toward midnight, by which stage Thai authorities had cancelled New Year’s celebrations. No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts.

AUSTRALIA: Another scapegoat or two bite the dust!

John Howard the rocket launcher and his AFP
John Howard the rocket launcher and his AFP now lay the blame of lost rocket launchers on a scapegoat in custody. Typical propaganda to make himself look good. Again! But now there is a specific target and I strongly suggest it's John Howard's war on terror and how much of a boost he can give to his fear factor so he can continue war mongering!

Bungles, Ghosts and Damage Control

05-01-2007 04:57 | Analysis | Anti-militarism | Social Struggles | World

The Whitehouse is in damage control over the bungled execution of Saddam Hussein. The hurried execution backfired in the worst possible way; a vanquished leader should never be allowed to continue his work from the ‘grave’. Anthropologists are familiar with appeasement rituals and ceremonies for the dead, which are common to numerous cultures. In the wake of Saddam’s bungled execution these curious rituals begin to make sense.

After the rocket launchers that went missing from the Australia War Force just recently and that's part of the inquiries that we are making," They said.
