Dalai Lama pawn in Bush's oil wars?

21-10-2007 22:33 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | Social Struggles | World

We've already had to warn the heroic Buddhist dissidents of Burma and colonized Uighur people of China's far west against allowing themselves to be exploited as propaganda fodder by the Bush White House. Now it seems we have to warn the Dalai Lama—whose official website boasts the text of his Oct. 17 Capitol Hill acceptance speech upon being awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Lies About Israel's Attack On Syria Exposed

19-10-2007 19:27 | Anti-militarism | World

So then ... what was the purpose of this illegal act of aggression?

It appears this was a "back door" attack on Iran, since Syria and Iran have signed defense pacts, and this was intended to lure Iran into war. Living through these dark times, it becomes much clearer how Israel lured the Arab world into the wars it's used to justify the annexation of so much of the Palestinian State they refuse to recognize.

Pushing War With Iran

19-10-2007 19:25 | Anti-militarism | World

It's been interesting to watch the same media that helped sell the LIES about Iraq play the game again in regards to Israel/America's plot against Iran. They've Framed this non-existent 'crisis' in the Neo-Fascists' own rhetoric, again repeating long-refuted LIES with no counter-point or factual examination or rebuttal.

The US media just received its 30 pieces of silver, with the FCC announcement of further deregulation in the area of media conglomeration and mass ownership.

Twelve Former US Army Captains: Reinstate Draft and the dark truth

18-10-2007 13:35 | Analysis | Anti-militarism | Terror War | World

"Such constant rhetoric and legislation concerning conscription, in addition to warmongering with Iran and the continuation of the "war on terror" mantra has led some, including Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury in the Reagan administration Paul Craig Roberts , to warn that absent any real threat or attack, the Bush administration could stage false flag events and terror attacks in order to reinstate the draft, enhance military presence in the middle east and ultimately attack Iran."

Myanmar's “Saffron Revolution”: The Geopolitics behind the Protest Movement

16-10-2007 19:13 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Social Struggles | World

Burma’s “Saffron Revolution,” like the Ukraine “Orange Revolution” or the Georgia “Rose Revolution” and the various Color Revolutions instigated in recent years against strategic states surrounding Russia, is a well-orchestrated exercise in Washington-run regime change, down to the details of “hit-and-run” protests with “swarming” mobs of Buddhists in saffron, internet blogs, mobile SMS links between protest groups, well-organized protest cells which disperse and reform. CNN made the blunder during a September broadcast of mentioning the active presence of the NED behind the protests in Myanmar.

The New World Order, Forged in the Gulf

14-10-2007 13:04 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | History | World

The neo-conservatives have no discipline in their strategy; they are rabid imperialists, but prefer a strategy of showing their might through brute military force. The neo-cons, however, cannot be considered to be ‘brilliant’ strategists by any means, but rather just outright, overt colonialists. If you compare tactics briefly, you will understand the difference better. Brzezinski’s tactics of preserving American hegemony in the Middle East and Central Asia, were done so covertly that it had no outright repercussions of the public perception of America. Afghanistan was seen as being at the fault of the Soviets, whereas, the Iranian Revolution, to this day, has been viewed as damaging to American hegemony, and in fact, America was largely seen as the victim in that event. But, it nonetheless managed to achieve the overall aims of the Anglo-American alliance, in preserving their hegemony in the region and preventing the USSR from gaining a foothold in the region, as Islamic, religious governments would not work with the Soviet Union, a secular, anti-religious communist state.
