A pub in Camden was the subject of a demo when it was revealed that far right group the Jobbik Party are holding meetings there. The meetings are held by the Jobbik Party international affairs leader Zoltan Fuzessy. Jobbik has 3 MEPs and is part of an international far right alliance that includes the BNP. The landlord of the pub is a Mr Coyne who "won't be told what to do as it's his pub".
The Jobbik Party are Hungarian and are known as Euro Nazis in Hungary where they have launched brutal physical attacks on Roma people and others. Local campaigners including Candy Udwin have asked that people write letters to the pub and the council but we don't that think that this will be effective or enough.
The licensing department of Camden are a mixture of currupt and useless in cases such as this and have said with regards to such extremism that pubs can do what they like and hold whatever meetings they like. The landlord of the pub SUPPORTS the Hungarian Nazi group.
In the window the pub landlord has placed posters stating Support Our Troops / Support Our Heroes and says that army and militray personnnel get a 20% discount. Mr Coyne should be reminded that our troops FOUGHT Nazis in the second world war to keep Nazi scum out of the UK and to stop war crimes committed by them! We ask that local soldiers boycott the pub.
The pub also gives 20% discount to people from the NHS. Nurses and doctors have seen injuries on people who hav ebeen attacked by fascists and should boycott the pub.
The protest against Jobbik was attened by trade unions and other activists...we suggest there should be more protests and that directa ction be taken to stop Jobbik mobilising in Camden and against the pub.

The bonds between the British National Party (BNP) and Jobbik are growing since both have been elected to the EU. Gabor Vona, the Jobbik party chairman, announced in October the founding of the “Alliance of European Nationalist Movements” in a declaration of common goals drafted by BNP leader, Nick Griffin. Five parties have initially signed the nine-point declaration: Jobbik, France’s Front National, Italy’s Fiamma Tricolore, Sweden’s National Democrats and Belgium’s Front Nationalists.
The demonstration outside the pub was made up of autonomous anti-fascists, mostly from the Camden Anarchist and Whitechapel Anarchist groups as well as the local Unite Against Fascism group. After an uneasy stand off the meeting went ahead as planned. It was unclear if any BNP officials were present.
