2,500 March Against War in Aberdeen
Over 2000 marched against war on Iraq on International Women's Day (8 March) in Aberdeen. The protest, organised by the "Aberdeen Coalition for Justice not War", was attended by a wide range of people from political, religious, campaigning and trade union groups, as well as concerned individuals.FASLANE PEACE CAMP NEEDS PEOPLE

7-10 000 marched through Edinburgh to the Scottish Parliament on the evening of Thursday 6th March to hear speakers condemn the war including Tommy Sheridan, George Galloway and a mobile phone link up with Palestinian activists in Ramallah. Pictures at the link above.
Edinburgh Anti-War demo bigger as ever
Today, there was an anti-war demonstration in Edinburgh.The size of the demo was bigger as the last ones, at least about 3000 people or more turned up to walk from the two meeting points- either the fron tof the American embassy or Bristo Square at University to the Scottish Parliament.
