EDO gets new Paveway IV contract – We need to step up our resistance

The MoD has awarded Raytheon a new £60 million contract to replenish supplies of Paveway IV guided bombs to the British Army. EDO MBM (a unit of US arms dealers ITT Exelis) will manufacture the umbilical interconnect system and containers in Brighton. Paveway IV bombs have been used in Afghanistan and Libya and an earlier model of the Paveway was used in Iraq.

The MoD claims that this will sustain hundreds of jobs at the factories concerned (see  http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-17597889).

Many people know that the UK has embarked in a disastrous war in Afghanistan, alongside the US and NATO.
What most people do not know, or are not aware of, is that the people who arrive in UK fleeing the war in Afghanistan are routinely detained, denied protection and sent back to Afghanistan, on regular charter flights London - Kabul: there is a deportation charter flight to Afghanistan about every two weeks– charters to Afghanistan are the most regular of the mass deportation flights from the UK.

20 US Soldaten am US Massaker in Afghanistan beteiligt .......... Karzai hat die US Besatzungstruppen bereits aufgefordert, das Land zu verlassen. Das ist der Megagau, wenn die selber durch Wahlbetrug installierte Marionette des Westens sich gegen die einstigen Verbündeten stellt. Untersuchungskommission bestätigt, dass bis zu 20 US Soldaten an dem Massaker an Freuen und Kindern in Afghanistan beteiligt waren. Zudem drohen nach dem Mord an 16 Dorfbewohnern in der vergangenen Woche afghanische Abgeordnete, die ausländischen Streitkräfte im Land zu Besatzungstruppen zu erklären und aktiv zu bekämpfen. Entgegen der bisherigen Darstellung hatte nicht ein US Soldat im Rahmen eines Amoklaufes 16 Zivilisten im Schlaf erschossen sondern es waren ungefähr 20 US Soldaten an diesem gezielten Massaker beteiligt.
