Maya Evans freed from prison

Maya Evans was freed from Bronzefield prison today after serving seven days out of a 13 day sentence for anti-war activism.
Peace activist Maya Evans of anti-war group Justice Not Vengeance was released from HMP Bronzefield, near Ashford, Surrey, on Tuesday 6 March. She had served seven days of a 13 day sentence for non-payment of over £300 in fines and compensation for her part in a 2009 die-in outside Northwood HQ in north London.

Maya was released about 7.40am and was greeted by three hardy supporters.
