As London hosts Olympian athletes from over 200 countries, in the US 3 city mayors have said that a restaurant chain serving chickens is not welcome.
It is not a surprise that in the US former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee has asked people to buy the chicken corpse pieces served by Chick Fil A, a fast food chain, whose CEO S Truett Cathy's condemnation of gay marriage has caused Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel, Boston mayor Thomas Menino, and San Francisco mayor Edwin Lee to say his outlets are not welcome in those cities.
Mike Huckabee, former executing war promoting governor of Arkansas, had many millions of chickens from Arkansas factory farms killed during his reign, some of them roasted or frozen alive which the long rectangular metal sheds were subjected to electricity outages. Huckabee did nothing about the chicken wasted poured by the trillions of gallons into streams from
factory farms, causing histoplasmosis, colon bacteria (ecoli), and poisonous effects from nicotinic and other insecticides. He did nothing about the 9 chickens crammed into a 3 ft by 1 ft cage, their beaks half cut off so that they don't peck each other in the sardine cans in which they live.
Huckabee's disturbed son at age 17 hanged a stray dog. His father, a hunter, had taught him not to value the lives of God's creatures. Isaiah had a different message: "I delight not in your blood sacrifice."
The American Family Association and other war promoting animal eating pro-execution nominal Christians are also supporting the 'buycott'. They are either ignorant of the vegetarian ways of Jesus or they don't care.
The founders of Franciscans, Salvation Army, Seventh Day Adventists, Methodists, Dukhobors and other religions were all vegetarian, based on the life of Jesus.
Chicken flesh is correlated to leukemia, other cancers, heart disease, food poisoning, Alzheimer's, crippling arthritis, kidney dysfunction and a host of other diseases.
