What we haven't done is had people who can't attend, send us their messages. So get involved! Wherever you are you can e-mail a message/poem/article/ page of a novel- (whatever!) to smashedo@riseup.net and we will make sure those peddlers of death get the message.
Ever read an article about the arms trade or horrors of war and thought 'who really needs to read this are those ignorant arms dealers'? Maybe you're on the other side of the world but wish you could be more involved?
Have a think, tell your friends, and get e-mailing. We'll try and update you on how the messages went down too. Thanks so much.

"send us the date on which you are going to do something illegal, give the time and place and the nature of your action, oh and dont forget to leave your name, address and phone number"
"Or if you can`t do an action yourself send us a poem about it or a short piece of creative writing. We will read them out on Wednesday night and hopefully the deep meaning of the words will shock EDO in making camomile tea instead of weapons components. The best poem will be sent to Readers Digest.
Here`s my poem
There was a campaign that was Strong
Whose website went horribly wrong
The suggestions were shit
and I hope that the git
Who wrote them
gets squashed by King Kong.

If people want to head off on their own and take illegal actions they can, in fact that's always been the case. The call for a series of coordinated actions next year strikes me as a sensible change of tactic, would you rather have mass demos every 6 months with more police and less protesters each time?
When people have been going to noise demos every week for six years, material can get thin on the ground. I don't think anyone's suggesting EDO workers are going to suddenly down tools, but I don't see the harm in giving people a voice who can't be there, actually seems like quite a good idea.
I assume you're the same Spike and George that reacted badly when your sacred cow - South Coast Climate Camp/St Annes Diggers/Rotten Row Eco Village got (rightly) criticised for being a bullshit middle-class jolly. Guess you proved us wrong with your heroic defence of the site - oh wait no one even bothered to sleep in the tree-houses that others built for you.

If you are involved in the campaign, why don't you just come along with other suggestions if you don't like this one instead if slagging it off on Indymedia? Or if you don't want to, take action that you approve of at a time of your choosing. As the callout stated, diversity of tactics is appreciated. I don't believe that anyone things that Smash EDO would be disappointed if there were more pixies about...
Just saying
Spose your right dad
