Summer Moon Festival goers were treated to a scintillating performance as Strange Red Earth performed a set that included classic favourites and brand new tracks not even released yet.
The Torquay Rock Band, known for it’s atmospheric and original sound set the standard as other young artists and music fans watched in amazement. “Who was that guy on the keyboard” exclaimed one of Strange Red Earth’s newest fans “This band truly Rocks” said Lucy Kirten of Teignmouth “I’m definitely going to look them up on Facebook”.
Phil Andrews of Torquay loved the performance “My Favourite was Limbo of the Alsorans” he said. “Thank’s to Strange Red Earth for making my birthday extra special” said Jenny Pymont, fan and Dead Crow Records Logo designer from Teignmouth. The commendations just keep pouring in. Calum Macintosh of Kingskerwell can’t get enough of the band “That’s the second T shirt I’ve bought!!” he admitted en route to the beer tent for another pre Torbay half marathon pint of ale.

Stuart Sheill, co-founder of Dead Crow Records had a varied recollection of the Summer Moon Festival “the evening went really well but then it all went to pot when we tasted the strange red cider and then finished ourselves off with cheese balls”
Strange Red Earth’s next booked live performance is on Friday 2nd September at Pub Alibi, St Marychurch, Torquay, but there is expected to be some exciting news to be released in the next few weeks. “We are not in a position to reveal the next news story until a few things are put on track” hinted Dead Crow Record’s Press Officer Grom Harbor “although we love the summer we can’t wait for what will be a great strange red autumn”. “We will be able to reveal all in the next few weeks”.
