The 'Opening Minds' school curriculum is eugenics, (anthropometry) devised by the Royal Society of the Arts, and now in schools in the UK, and elsewhere.
Here is the eugenics school curriculum:

It is not clear what children to be so afraid of.
From the Telegraph article with respect to the Evelyn Grace Academy in Brixton:
'Everyone has a reading book on the table. No one moves towards the pasta and meatballs until a teacher gives the signal, and even then there's an atmosphere of quiet restraint. 'If we didn't have the strict rules we have, I dread what it would be like here,' Xanthe Greenwood, 13, says.'
I am not sure what these children think they are capable of.

As such, anthropometric measurements could be be used by eugenicists to measure the physical size of people if they were proposing a breeding programme to select for size.But, to claim that schools are promoting eugenics because they are teaching anthropometry is like saying they are promoting weapons manufacture because they are teaching CAD!
Given the importance of making sure things are designed to take account of individual differences, which is what anthropomtery enables us to do, we should be pleased that it is being taught at schools.

Given the importance of making sure things are designed to take account of individual differences, which is what anthropomtery enables us to do, we should be pleased that it is being taught at schools.
I take it then that someone at the RSA (Royal Society for the Arts) has made a unilateral decision about the careers of these 11 year old children.

I am not sure then why these children are taught how to measure babies, when they cannot predict what they will be like as adults. Unless it is intended that those in the year 7 Opening Minds Science curriculum (compulsory in schools where this is offered) are going to have a career in designing equipment for babies.

International Family Health was founded by two long serving members of the Institute’s Council.
We now have eugenicists crawling ALL OVER our children.
