EDL Leadership Exposed

The article describes the EDL as "racist". Can anyone here explain how the EDL are racist? Who are they racist against?

In reality, the EDL have been racist against just about everyone! Numerous screen grabs from the EDL facebook page have shown it to be rife with 'paki' jokes and interviews with EDL supporters in demos have shown them to be clueless, Ill informed and acting on predjudice rather than facts. Not to mention that EDL highups have been revealed to be ex or current EDL members time and time again and plenty of footage from EDL demos has shown repeated and habitual harassment of Asians regardless of religion. The last documentary on the EDL showed an EDLer making monkey noises at a black counter protester. Rather than stopping him, dozens of others on the march joined in. The list literally goes on and on and on. I don't think the EDL are fascist like the BNP, but I do think they are racist in the most deeply I'll informed, stupid and hysterical way. No matter what the leadership keeps bleating out, history has shown that the rank n file EDL member is just a beered up, racist, paki-bashing moron who just wants a fight, and can't justify their opinions in a coherant or consistent way when asked.
