The Menwith Hill spy base near Harrogate in North Yorkshire, England, is the largest electronic monitoring station in the world. Run by the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States, it is one of a global network of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) bases, which monitors the world's communications and relays information to NSA HQ at Fort Meade in Maryland, USA.

One of the places listed was hit since then, but since it hasn't been publicised as a crime and none of my concerns about Indymedia security are being answered, then you'll have to guess.
Menwith Hill isn't on the list because the US don't consider it a Critical Foreign Dependency. It's US territory flying the Stars and Stripes. Spooks is correct though that CFD's will have been redacted, and there is an interesting NYT article by Bill Keller just now detailing how that process worked, although they've stuck it up behind a registration page today. Basically, the NYT team went to the US authorities and took advice on what they should publish since they have a poor opinion of Assange. Apart from that rather shameless article, they also put up a rather derigatory video which glosses over their complicity.
