This morning, protesters, EU Parliamentarians, journalists and ambulance crews are being sprayed with skunk water and copious amounts of tear gas in the weekly protest against the wall at Bil'in. Soldiers are also reported to be firing 'rubber bullets' at children in the village.

The mother of Jawaher Abu Rahmah, a 36 year old woman who died from exposure to tear gas on New Years Day, was at the head of the march this morning.
One reporter says that he thinks that there may be even more gas being used this week, and he has seen three people being taken away by ambulance. He thinks there may be more.
Despite the brutal response by the IDF, some protestors are doggedly tearing at the fence.Ironically, a video clip of Netanyahu describing how democracies deal with protesters has been highlighted by Israeli activists this week, providing evidence that by his own standards, Israel is not functioning as a democracy.
