phobia doesn't refer exclusively to fear, it means 'fear or hatred' specifically an irrational fear or hatred, if you think that you need to go round intimidating muslims because you fear that shariah law in britain is just around the corner - then thats a case in point, isn't it? Irrational fear and hatred of muslims = islamophobia. Its not English either it's Greek. However a morer appropriate tag for the edl is fascist: scapegoating working class minorities while trumpeting imperialism = fascist.

They may not fear Muslims individually, but they certainly (unjustly IMHO) fear the imposition of an Islamic state in this country.

And what's with the Christian cross in the EDL logo? Are all those football hooligans and neo-Nazis really closet Bible-bashers? I'm certainly Christianophobic, I fear Christian interference in the state (which exists already). How come you get some of the Archbishops sitting in the House of Lords?

The Sunday trading laws, created because of Christian influence in this country are a big pain in the arse. Imagine if all the religions had such infleunce ie no trading during Friday prayers or on a Sunday....
