The programme will show a range of diversity from the gay ART PRIDE event that is know as GFEST for short. In it’s fourth year now, GFEST will present cutting edges of Proud and Loud Performances (from 18 to 20 Nov) at Cochrane Theatre in Holborn, ‘Moving’ glbt Short Films at Rich Mix in Bethnal Green (from 11 to 13 Nov), Vibrant Rainbow Colours of Visual Arts in two Exhibitions (from 8 to 20 Nov) and a number of exciting events, debates, talks and parties (from 8 to 21 Nov) in venues across London.

In his message of support well known gay and human rights activists PETER TATCHELL said that GFEST artists are in the “frontline of queer culture, articulating our identities, experiences, triumphs and tragedies.” He urged people to go and see the festival. STEPHEN FRY in his recent message to GFEST- Gaywise FESTival said that he is “Proud and happy to support GFEST 2010, which does so much to promote the work of LGBT artists everywhere.” Renowned author SARAH WATERS said, “GFEST is a celebration of the wonderful diversity.. It’s so inspiring to see LGBT arts showcased in this way. I hope GFEST just gets bigger, bolder and more beautiful, year by year!”
GFEST has been seen as being hugely successful in recent years, with thousands of Londoners benefiting from the showcasing of emerging and established gay talent.
The festival is supported by leading parties in the UK.
