Edl members mostly have no idea who it is that is manipulating them.
We will have to keep an eye on the US and Israel, as today's news shows, they are feigning a defensive and this usually comes before an organised lapse back to violence.
I wouldn't be surprised if this violent lapse coincides with the edl going on the rampage somewhere in order to put people off protesting.
