Dont Blame The Blac Bloc for the Global Elites Mess!

Blocitus Blacitus Fortunitus - a slave of rome | 02.07.2010 11:56 | Animal Liberation | Globalisation | Social Struggles | South Coast | World

After yet more and more articles 'blaming' the blac bloc - a simple yet effective slang term for those of us that dont give a shit about raising capitalism to the ground in order to buld new, sustainable community
ies for all and every - for the 'violence' in Toronto, I thought I'd knock up this little article so that the 'fluffies' out there - the ones who keep 'blaming' the blac bloc for the strentgh of the elite machine - might be able to answer this question, why is it so hard to understand we need violence to defeat the system?

Leave the Blac Bloc Alone!!

This is a complex ‘war’; The System in its very self is a complex web of organisations on top of organisations with umbrella groups, like banks and IMF style ‘boards of directors’ at the helm, leading the global capitalist plan for total domination (they are not far off, by the way, as we busy ourselves with talk and words).

So the destruction of the global elite ‘system’ will take more than just guns and bombs, yes, it will take the greatest ever revolution that has taken place, the revolution that is yet to happen, even a sniff of it has yet to surface – even in Greece, things are not as ‘rebellious’ as they are going to be! – so no one can answer the question of ‘what does violence achieve?’, as the answer has to be placed in to an ‘understandable’ context, ie. That the end of the global elite order can only come after an immense battle, containing riots, YES, revolutions, YES, assassinations, YES, AND ALSO COMMUNITY BUILDING, YES, and localised progression and sustainable communities for those who wish to live another way, separated from the grip of ‘The System’.

Can you fluffies out there tell me why this is so hard to understand or get a grip with?

Ok, so the bank burning to the ground in X city in X country on X day may not seem like part of the ‘battle for liberation’, indeed, if you had to use that bank yesterday and cannot today, even as an anarcho-rebel, I understand you may be peeved because you cant have the luxury of taking ‘your money’ out of the wall…Yet is it a good enough reason to dismiss violent action against capitalism? I don’t think so.

I do not see it as being wrong or not worthy. I support every action that is part of the liberation from the global elite order – and I am not sorry folks, but that means violence….

not really news

I agree with you, but this doesn't really belong in a newswire; it's just an opinion rant... especially since the articles you refer to have since been hidden by IMCers for containing all those unproven silly claims about police infiltrators etc.

The only problem I have is that say smashing up a starbucks is a symbolic act, but the telling of the narrative is in the hands of the global media. So my criticism is that you're not media savvy, the main weapon of suppression of the masses is fear, fear spread through the information control system they call the media, and the acts of black bloc don't just spread fear to the elites, they spread it to the rest of us too, especially when they use black bloc's violence as an excuse to beat up any protester violent or not, it stops people coming out on the streets. I also think that bb is heavily infiltrated by the ruling classes, beware any authoritarians amongst you, ex military, public school rugby types and the like.

The London G8 kettling of 'violent anarchists' against the only unprotected bank with all the worlds media ready and waiting suggests stage management to me and there is a danger that you are being used as tools of the ruling class in suppressing mass demonstrations, I suggest you hold back until violence is instigated against the protest and act to defend your fellow protesters against the brutal actions of the police. Rather than dissing people who are arsed enough to get out on the streets by calling the 'fluffies'

pointing out that violence is part of the struggle, so deal with it, and inviting fluffies, not dissing them, inviting them to answer the questions i asked in the 'piece', whether it was a rant or not...it's still on IM isn't it?

and is anyone prepared to answer the questions?

I sympathise with the feeling of the need to do something but smashing a Starbucks window does fuck all. The window will be repaired, the state will have a mandate from the frightened population to crackdown on protest and capitalism will carry on working as if nothing happened.

We need to be smarter than this, "smash and burn" worked at Seattle becaue they were totally unprepared for it but these days every summit is prepared for it because they expect it coming a mile away.

I'm pissed off that indymedia decided to delete my article daring to question black bloc tactics at economic summits and of how much alue it really is to creating long lasting change and changing the minds ofthe rest of society.

p.s I can already tell you I will be called "a fluffy," "an authoritarian leftist" "a pussy" or whatever but we need to have these discussions within our movement and be able to question our own tactics and how effective and conducive they really are towards our aims.

I'm sick of being censored off indymedia for daring to suggest that Black bloc tactics aren't working anymore and we need to get smarter....

a)"smash and burn" worked at Seattle because they were totally unprepared for it....
b)It frightens the rest of society giving the state mandate for heavy blanket repression and discrediting alternative movements.
c)The window will be smashed, then fixed and capitalism will carry on working
d)It doesn't aid any kind of anarchist cause beyond releasing cathartic built up rage

black block are police or might as well be

03.07.2010 12:07

If you support their actions or take part you are idiots and you deserve everything you get. You give the State what it needs, a mandate to crack down hard.

I think the black-bloc is a honey-pot for people who want to smash things up.
I doubt you will be many of their aspirants doing things that benefit the community like helping old ladies do their shopping.

Utter scum, the police are thankful for them and the press love them.
Used and abused and they don't even fucking realise it!!!

I look forward to the police taking out the force rank at the kneecaps with a volley.
The rest will become the Brown-Bloc

state crackdown

'If you support their actions or take part you are idiots and you deserve everything you get. You give the State what it needs, a mandate to crack down hard.'

'the state will have a mandate from the frightened population to crackdown on protest and capitalism will carry on working as if nothing happened'

The state is already cracking down hard or haven't you noticed? Take another look around the world and see what 'states' are doing. The longer we sit on our arses and talk about how pointless it is to smash a window or raise a fist against the machine the more it will trample over all of us.

This is a fight - sit down and be a good citizen or get up and resist. Stuff the media - any action that threatens the system will always be given bad press and fear will always be a tool. Who cares what they report? We want more of the resistance on Toronto everywhere. More more more...
