PEACE enters Parliament
UK Citizens protest peacefully by walking through the gates of the houses of parliament London SW1.
A Sign of the times people call for an end to war and to hold peacefull dialogue. They are then forcefully removed. The bottom line is this country needs a constitution, made by the people for the people

This talk of constitutions is nonsense

For all the talk of "rights" and so on, constitutions merely create a fixed contract that is pressed upon people and leaves them at the whim of lawyers. Who does it benefit to be told that you have a constitutional right to free speech when that same constitution limits your free speech "in defence of national security" or some such other euphemism for "except when free speech is inconvenient". Who wants an involuntary contract? That is what a constitution entails.
Be away with you and your nonsense of written constitution for the people. That is simply a tool of lawyers to coerce away people's freedoms. Instead of the idiocy of "constitutions" there should be contracts for church and state and law to define their powers not ours.
The very concept of a constitution is antidemocratic. As the signatories of the most mendacious document in the western world - The US Constitution - were ready to admit. The constitution gives protection for the tyranny of the minority against the "tyranny" of the majority.
Do you really want to become a second class US?
