The Rachel Corrie which was the Irish flagged boat carrying Malaysian and Irish activists including Mariead Mcguire, Nobel Peace Prize winner, is currently about 35 miles off the coast of Gaza and is being boarded by the Israeli Navy. Earlier today, Irish politicians agreed with Israel that the boat should dock at Ashdod. Derek Graham also aboard the boat told the Independent that: "we cannot turn around because it would insult the people that died last Monday"

Turns out all the journos are doing is watching twitter and waiting to push the button, Many Israeli media, Palestinian media and agencies reported the boarding. It was false. As I write this, MV Rachel Corrie has ignored 2 *calls* by Israel to divert to Ashdod.

IDF says it is legal to stop the boat. They have jammed communication from the boat, so whole world has to rely on their account.
