During the protest I was kettled on Threadneedle St and assaulted by police using "distraction" violence techniques which included kicking me on the ground, beating me on the head with batons and punching my teeth out. I remained peaceful throughout and due to my verbal defence against police violence I now face a charge of Violent Disorder which carries a max term of 5yrs
There were many citizen journalists covering the event, some of which were also assaulted. I especially appeal to these individuals to come forward and give testimony along with legal observers..

Are you just looking for people who think they might have witnessed the attack on you, or are you also looking for witnesses to attest to the general character of the events on Threadneedle Street (accounts and photos of police aggression, other attacks etc.)?
I'm sure there are plenty of people who could testify to the latter, which might be useful as part of your defence.
Anyhow, best of luck to you, I hope you beat these charges.
