Got me thinking about how serious electoral fraudsters might do it these days.
"Serious electoral fraudsters"? Yes, there is a difference. You see, we - the taxpayers, that is - once used to pay people to do the sort of geopolitical "psychological warfare" that allegedly involved that sort of thing in faraway places. During WW2 my fathers dad was Foreign Office, "Political Intelligence", posted to America in the 39-42 period. Seeing as some of the things he oversaw in Europe involved assasination of the head of the gestapo - with the czechs - but much of the rest of his career is a tad hard to get information about. Little bits of information add up, despite the fact that I only heard about that side of his past ten years ago. Fords "Dearborn Independent" free newspaper pumping out the forged "Protocols" from all the car dealerships or gas stations of Europe is almost forgotten too.
This quieter, "dirty" side of professional training didnt actually stop in 1945, so what seems MOST unlikely is that ALL of the people who went through this sort of training remained uncorrupt in their retirements, turning down offers from oil corporates or the sort of "private networks of agents" exposed in the "AlYammama" arms trade expose. Extrapolate. Are we all REALLY so sure that all that expertise is just going to say "OH, BUT I COULDNT POSSIBLY DO THAT TO THE OLD BIRTHPLACE", having bought their tax-haven getaways in the sun ?
Is there more information about what people admit DID happen in the 1950s to the present day that directly involves coherent votefraud - WITH MEDIA COVER (newspapers / radio / tv "subtle" influencing ) - such as the rigging of opinion polls etc - or those little moments where the corners seem to come up slightly of more recent largescale votefraud - such as the Ohio arrests after the US election before last? Useful to put some of these links together. Cheers - see comments, later.
