The Democracy Village calls all like-minded concerned citizens to come and join us. We are calling a Strike for Peace until our demands are met. We are committed to maintaining an ongoing presence on Parliament Square.
All are welcome to come and stay for a few hours, a day, or a night.
Donations of food and equipment are very welcome. Bring a sleeping bag and tent if you plan to stay.
In this election, no major party has offered the choice to end this pointless war.
VOTE FOR PEACE by coming to the village today.

We have a camp and the police are being extremely respectful and polite. It smells like a vacuum of power. Several heroes of the revolution braved the terrible rain overnight to maintain the camp, and it is now under construction being made into a village, as you can see from photo.
Statement above has been agreed this afternoon to go out to press. The village welcomes all visits, support and particularly people who can stay overnight -- there are spare tents plus some bedding down there, but don't hesitate to bring your own and be comfortable -- stuff won't get nicked, people are there all the time. Help on May 6 election day p.m./eve specially needed.

What a terrible shame that seasoned peace campaigners wouldn't welcome with open arms new recruits to Parliament Square.
If we really want to achieve peace then we must transcend the ego and join together, not create superficial divisive arguments such as the above.
Why not come over for a cup of tea Charity and Brian and give peace a chance?
