Thanks for info but..

I'm a bit confused by the 'total' at the bottom of each section (probably me not reading things right). If, say, Brook House has 882 incidents of self-harm, how come the total at the bottom is 56? Sorry, not trying to pick holes, just want to understand this really shocking information properly.
Thanks.

For each detention centre you need to read it as three separate figures for Oct/Nov/Dec instead of three digits of the same number. Hopefully this should make it clearer:

-------------------
Number of incidents of Self-Harm requiring medical treatment

Brook House 8/8/2
Campsfield House 0/2/1
Colnbrook 6/7/4

Haslar 0/0/0
Lindholme 0/0/0
Oakington 2/1/0
Tinsley House 1/1/0
Yarl's Wood 8/1/2

Total: 56
