Action Info
"The purpose of the Chilcot inquiry is to normalize an epic crime by providing enough of a theater of guilt to satisfy the media so that the only issue that matters, that of prosecution, is never raised. When he appears in January, Blair will play this part to odious perfection, dutifully absorbing the hisses and boos. All "inquiries" into state crimes are neutered in this way."
~ John Pilger, in 'Normalising an epic crime, Thu 10 Dec 10

• thanks to antiwar artist Chris Holden http://www.antiwarart.co.uk for incorporating this into his custom placard (see pix A0 and B7 above)
It's late, and in the words of my toddler nephew, "my runny nose came", so I shall let the images talk for themselves at 1K words/picture (with vidz to follow later at 15k words/sec!)

Whatever Next?
G20 Meltdown rocked the London streets in spring 2009, though I wasn't well enough to join in. Let's see if we can also get thousands of folks on the streets in spring 2010 – as the capitalist dictatorship's "Democratic Circus" revs up to fever pitch – and exercise our collective political power directly, rather than surrendering it to a bosses' lackey politician. Please consider coming along to the Election Meltdown Mobilisation at the weekend, and lets start getting ourselves organ-iz-zized!
ELECTION MELTDOWN MOBILISATION
• You are cordially invited to attend...
• An open-ended meeting, arranged so people can consider how a coalition of groups and tendencies might mobilise together in 2010, for a new society. It's suggested this should be in the context of the general election, and on the strategy for an effective, decentralised movement in response, but the agenda is not fixed. All groups and individuals committed to a world free of oppression, very welcome.
• And please forward this invitation to key networks.
• Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 January 2010, 15:00-19:00 on both days
• Downstairs at The Foundry, Old Street tube, 80 Great Eastern Street, London, EC2A 3JL
