"If children are the future, and if these future adults are forced to take drugs that are known to permanently alter their nervous systems, their brain function, their ability to balance their endocrine system, much like a heroine or cocaine addict, what will our future generation be?" says Laurie Anspach, Executive Director of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) of Florida. "It takes 10 short years from the time a child is in Middle School, before he is ready to go out in the world and be an adult, be a legal driver, legal drinker, able to rent an apartment, get a job, step into the shoes of those positions in society which have been worn for centuries. Positions such as business owner, doctor, nurse, serviceman, salesman, paramedic, etc. 10 short years for a child to grow enough, physically, academically, socially and otherwise, enough to carry on in life as an adult. Have you considered what our future generation will do with matters such
as legislation, law enforcement, social betterment, medical care, etc.?"
George Orwell's 1984, a book describing a society of full government control, is referred to often when our current culture is examined!
But there is a solution. Quite simply the first answer is that we do NOT force children to take dangerous and addictive, even deadly drugs for some perceived disease for which there is no verifiable test. Each parent can take that responsibility - if given the truth about psychiatric drugs, the uncertain diagnoses and the corrupt industry that creates these drugs and profits from them.
Legislatively, there is some good news. Federally, there is the Parental Consent Act, which, when passed, will Prohibit federal funds from being used to establish or implement any universal or mandatory mental health, psychiatric, or socioemotional screening program. There is a Bill in the United States senate, introduced by Senator Grassley of Iowa, that requires manufacturers of pharmaceutical drugs, devices and biologics to disclose the amount of money they give to doctors through payments, gifts, honoraria, travel and other means. In our own state of Florida, we have in place Florida Statute, Title XLVII, Chapter 1006.0625 Administration of psychotropic medication; prohibition; conditions, which states: "A public school may not deny any student access to programs or services because the parent of the student has refused to place the student on psychotropic medication."
These examples are legislation that makes sense in terms of protecting the rights of our children and our communities.
At the same time there are reasons for great concern. There is mandatory mental health screening of all pregnant women in New Jersey. TeenScreen is operating in schools throughout the US, asking children worrisome questions and selecting out many for profitable mental health treatment. Believe it or not, there are even infant mental health programs, one top of a plethora of after school programs through various entities which include mental health care, ADHD camps and schools in which the use of restraints is justified, just because the child might have been diagnosed with Autism. The future is clearly colored with bogus mental health diagnoses and drugging for individuals of all ages.
One might ask himself, "what is the solution to this rapidly declining culture?" The answer is public awareness! Let the truth be known. This Citizens Commission on Human Rights was founded to "investigate, expose and eradicate psychiatric violations of human rights." Sleeves rolled up, shoulder to shoulder with like-minded groups and individuals, CCHR is fulfilling its role in exposing the fraud of psychiatry and the truth of alternatives to psychiatric treatment. The solution is educating the public very fast, so that fact that there are no medical tests, no brain scans, no chemical imbalance tests, no blood tests, to prove that ANY mental health disorder actually exists becomes broadly known and understood.
There are millions of people throughout the United States, all over the world, in every town and every city, who are looking for solutions to mental health symptoms. Whether it be stress from work, marriage, school, or an extreme loss or trauma. With Billions of dollars invested into marketing of psychiatric drugs, over the television, in magazine ads, radio ads, we have constant pounding of the same false information. This, unfortunately, puts people in the position of making important life changing decisions based upon wrong information. The truth is that psychiatric drugs, electro shock treatment have damaging and potentially fatal effects.
CCHR Florida has a hotline where Florida residents can call to learn more about their rights, and receive referrals to Attorneys, Medical Doctors and other professionals who can help them.
To raise public awareness, CCHR generates over 100 Public Service Announcements a week on Florida radio stations. There are also radio stations with National and Regional guests who speak from their expertise about what real solutions there are for people who want to help themselves without using mind-altering drugs.
Laurie Anspach added, "Times have changed over the last decade or so and the numbers of groups and individuals who care about this issue, has grown. We have many different non-profit groups, medical doctors, ministers and individuals who are working in the same direction and have allied with our group to help get the word out to their communities. We operate on a cooperative basis with these groups and as a result we are able to get a lot more done."
The work of CCHR is very much aligned with the subject of “human rights”. Each individual has the basic human right to be fully informed. There are many successes that occur when a family or individual does call on our hotline. Once they are educated and feel they understand the issues, they begin to make informed decisions that change their lives forever. Parents are often very grateful that CCHR Florida exists and that we are here for the community!

This is a Scientology Scammer

This is a posting from a Scientology scammer. While free speech is all very laudable, the whole "anti-psychiatry" stance of Scientology is in place in order to keep vulnerable people away from anybody but Scientologists. Scientology is not free and preys upon people with stress, depression, mental health problems and quite simply people who are not that bright.
Free speech is not about promoting a business - which is what this post intends.

Yup, this is promoting a business, a Scientology front group. So technically the mods should hide it - but I suppose it is useful if people know that groups like these, and Narconon (operating with drug addicts in the UK) are covers for a deeply sinister and destructive cult.

The cult have been using a variety of methods to lie about the protest so it now looks like protests in London at Tottenham Court Road may no longer be possible.

Crappier Cult Is Crappier

However, there should be concerns for other Indymedia readers who do not give a toot about Anonymous and their weird little protest against a perfectly respectable business. The kind of pressure being brought to bear on this protest can always act as precedent for wider protests. The protest outside the Scientology premises might be deemed to have features in common with the Parliamentary SOCPA area. Indeed, this Friday, the Cult might ask for the City of London Police to declare Tottenham Court Road a protest no go areas. Given the high amount of hospitality that the City of London Police are given by the Cult, there might be an expectation that the Police would obey the Cult.
For these reasons - among many others - it would be decent of Indymedia readers to consider giving some support to the small, well behaved, gentlemen (and women) who are protesting about human rights abuse, economic exploitation, violence, freedom of information, censorship and a host of related things that are of central importance to the Indymedia community.
Protests are frequently held on Saturdays and consist of strangely aesthetic expressions of protest and criticism. If the City of London Police are allowed to squeeze out such smaller protests then it will inevitably lead to the precedent being set for the control of larger events.

WHERE ARE THE GOOD PILLS?
20.08.2009 14:23
Can anyone actually get hold of a pill that makes me want too hug someone? I stopped doing pills because they were shite. I instead recommend MDMA, in small and occasional doses, 0.05 - 0.1 of a gram at a time.
After 20 years the worst thing thats happened is that I`ve bought a doggy record or two.
