Here is your sporadic Smash EDO update, with information about special noise demos and other goings on...
WEDNESDAY JULY 22: Bikes not Bombs -A Critical Mass bike ride against EDO/ITT. The bike ride will gather at the Level in Brighton from 3.30pm and set off at 4pm. If you can, bring sound systems, other noise equipment, flags etc. If you do not have a bike just come straight to the factory as usual!
TUESDAY AUGUST 11, 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton: Smash EDO public debate: Is Breaking the Law to Resist War Crimes Ever Justified? This is everyone's chance to come and debate the issues surrounding the campaign. If you want to get anything off your chest this is the time...Friend and foe equally welcome!
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 12, 4pm at EDO: Noise demo against EDO's complicity in drone attacks in Pakistan. Bring kites.
REMEMBER THAT NOISE DEMOS CONTINUE EVERY WEDNESDAY OUTSIDE EDO/ITT ON HOME FARM ROAD 4-6pm.
DECOMMISSIONERS UPDATE:
Elijah Smith was denied bail at a recent hearing and is now the only decommissioner still on remand. He has yet again been moved back to HMP Lewes. You can write to him at: Elijah Smith VP 7551. HMP Lewes, 1 Brighton Rd, Lewes, Sussex BN7 1EA.
Building up to the court case it is important that support is mounting. A special Support the Decommissioners flyer has been printed. If you feel that you can help promoting this issue and want some flyers send us an email and some will be sent to you. There is also a booklet in production which will aim to build awareness around the case.
And last but not least, a Facebook page has been set up. Anyone into that sort of thing, please add 'I Support the Decommissioners' to your network and promote it as many people as you can!
