To President Hugo Chavez and the World: Coke Zero

Dr. Betty Martini, D.Hum | 19.06.2009 15:55 | Education | Health | World

President Hugo Chavez has banned Coke Zero from Venezuela based on a health problem. He needs to know what the health problem is. Aspartame in Coke Zero is an addictive excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug that interacts with other drugs and vaccines.

Subject: Open Letter to President Hugo Chavez and the World: Coke Zero

Dear President Chavez:

Congratulations for the ban on Coke Zero. Your courage is admirable. It was reported on June 15th that a bill here in the US puts soft drinks under FDA control. The report said more than 350,000 people die every year from soft drink related diseases, according to government figures. However, there are a great deal more than this who die from aspartame pop. As Dr. Maria Alemany said to me after doing the Trocho Study in Barcelona, "Aspartame can kill 200 million people."

During the floor debate of the bill several senators remarked upon the fact that Venezuela recently banned the sale of Coke Zero . Senator John Kerry of Massachusetts commented that was more progressive on the subject than we are. I was happy to hear that soda vending machines will be banned in all schools, hospitals and public buildings. Children under 18 will be prohibited from purchasing soft drinks, unless accompanied by an adult.

The news exploded about you banning Coke Zero here in the US. The phones started ringing with gleeful remarks that because of aspartame the President of Venezuela is removing this product from the country. The "comment" section of articles began to burst with expressions of joy and expound on the dangers of this toxin (Equal, E951,NutraSweet, Benevia, Canderel, Spoonful, etc.). Indeed, when you mention health problems in the same breath you discuss a product with this poison there is no question as to what it is.

Then came questions like, "why not ban all products in the country that contain aspartame", after all today this toxin is probably in 10,000 food and drugs. There are millions of hits on google exclaiming the health hazards of using this genetically engineered, addictive, excitoneurotoxic carcinogenic drug masquerading as an additive. One editor's note was that the FDA themselves listed 92 documented symptoms of aspartame from four types of seizures to coma and death. We have it on web. Also, this toxin damages the mitochondria so it interacts with drugs and vaccines. Here in the US they even add aspartame to the very drugs used to treat the problems it causes. To make matters worse aspartame is blended with acesulfame potassium which caused cancer and leukemia in original studies. I read the pathetic rebuttal by Coke that the ingredients were safe. They seem to have forgotten the protest of the National Soft Drink Association, now American Beverage, against aspartame:  http://www.mpwhi.com/open_letter_dick_adamson.htm Coke and Pepsi were the two top members.

Some people think politics underlined the decision, but no one would have guessed cyclamates because its not labeled on the container. Indeed, if it was found by analysis its another grievance against industry for adding ingredients that are not labeled. The public is entitled to know what they are consuming. Cyclamates was banned because of cancer.

So if the concern is cancer then you definitely don't want aspartame in your country. The molecule even breaks down to diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent that triggered brain tumors in original studies.

Note what the FDA toxicologist told Congress:

Dr. Adrian Gross, FDA toxicologist who asked that Searle be indicted for fraud told Congress at least one of Searle's studies "has established beyond ANY REASONABLE DOUBT that aspartame is capable of inducing brain tumors in experimental animals and that this predisposition of it is of extremely high significance. ... In view of these indications that the cancer causing potential of aspartame is a matter that had been established WAY BEYOND ANY REASONABLE DOUBT, one can ask: What is the reason for the apparent refusal by the FDA to invoke for this food additive the so-called Delaney Amendment to the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act?"

The Delaney Amendment makes it illegal to allow any residues of cancer causing chemicals in foods. In his concluding testimony Gross asked, "Given the cancer causing potential of aspartame how would the FDA justify its position that it views a certain amount of aspartame as constituting an allowable daily intake or 'safe' level of it? Is that position in effect not equivalent to setting a 'tolerance' for this food additive and thus a violation of that law? And if the FDA itself elects to violate the law, who is left to protect the health of the public?" Congressional Record SID835:131 (August 1, l985)

The cancer issue was known early on by the FDA and the Bressler Report, FDA audit, discussed the fraud, like excising brain tumors from rats, putting them back in the study, and then resurrecting them on paper when they died. They were filtering out neoplasms and anything else they didn't want the FDA to know about. Unfortunately both US Prosecutors Sam Skinner and William Conlon hired on with the defense team and the statute of limitations expired. Then the FDA Board of Inquiry revoked the petition for aspartame. This is when Don Rumsfeld stepped in who was CEO of Searle at the time, and said he would call in his markers and get aspartame approved anyway. From the aspartame documentary, "Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World" here is James Turner, Atty, explaining what Rumsfeld did:  http://www.soundandfury.tv/pages/rumsfeld2.html In the end it took an Executive Order by President Reagan to make the FDA powerless to do anything about aspartame until he could get Arthur Hull Hayes there to over-rule the Board of Inquiry and allow a chemical poison to be marketed for human consumption. So aspartame was never proven safe and was marketed through the political chicanery of Don Rumsfeld.

Years later the Ramazzini Studies showed aspartame to be a multipotential carcinogen. Here are the results:

The first ERF study (2005) was conducted on 1800 Sprague-Dawley rats (100-150/per sex/per group) In order to simulate daily human intake, aspartame was added to the standard rat diet in quantities of 5000, 2500, 100, 500, 20, 4, and 0 mg/Kg of body weight. Treatment of the animals began at 8 weeks of age and continued until spontaneous death. The results show that APM causes a statistically significant, dose-related increase of lymphomas/leukemias and malignant tumors of the renal pelvis in females and malignant tumors of peripheral nerves in males. These results demonstrate for the first time that APM is a carcinogenic agent, capable of inducing malignancies at various dose levels, including those lower than the current acceptable daily intake (ADI) for humans (50 mg/kg of body weight in the US, 40 mg/kg of body weight in the EU).

The second ERF study (2007) was conducted on 400 Sprague-Dawley rats (70-95/per sex/per group). In order to simulate daily human intake, aspartame was added to the standard rat diet in quantities of 100, 20, and 0 mg/Kg of body weight. Treatment of the animals began on the 12th day of fetal life until natural death. The results of the second study show an increased incidence of lymphomas/leukemias in female rats with respect to the first study. Moreover, the study shows that when lifespan exposure to APM begins during fetal life, the age at which lymphomas/leukemias develop in females is anticipated. For the first time, a statistically significant increase in mammary cancers in females was also observed in the second study. The results of this transplacental carcinogenicity bioassay not only confirm, but also reinforce the first experimental demonstration of APMs multipotential carcinogenicity.

Concerning aspartame cancer, this is only the tip of the iceberg. It was banned in Romania in the early 90's for this reason. The medical text, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, by H. J. Roberts, M.D. is over 1000 pages of horrors from precipitating diabetes, MS and obesity to blindness, birth defects, male sexual dysfunction and sudden cardiac death. As the Trocho Study shows the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA. When you damage DNA you can destroy humanity.

Here is the whole story as written for Prop 65. There is a so-called nasty list and if your product contains any of the nasty ingredients such as formaldehyde and methanol it must be labeled with a cancer warning before it can come into California.  http://www.mpwhi.com/letter_to_cynthia_oshita.htm

Here is the front page story on aspartame and Don Rumsfeld in the Ecologist in 2005:  http://www.mpwhi.com/ecologist_september_2005.pdf Notice how the story starts off - "Once upon a time there was a biochemical warfare weapon". Need I say more. Why not simply sweep the poison out of your country as Romania did, and watch people wake up well from so many of the horrific symptoms. Consider diabetes alone, not only can aspartame precipitate it but it simulates and aggravates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy, destroys the optic nerve, causes them to go into convulsions and even interacts with insulin. The methanol causes them to lose their limbs.

It was President Nixon who outlawed cyclamates. If you outlaw aspartame you will show the world how to do it. There are safe sweeteners such as Just Like Sugar, www.justlikesugarinc.com It's made from chicory and orange peel, Vitamin C and Calcium. It has been analyzed and has no additives in it. Chicory has been used for 70 years to improve the health of diabetics.

No ban necessary

19.06.2009 21:43

A very interesting article Betty, but why do you want a ban on this substance?

Anyone who doesn't want to ingest it needn't do so.

If we ban everything that someone thinks is a danger then we'll end up living on raw organic carrots and lentils boiled in bottled mountain spring water.

Betty, by all means tell everyone of your concerns but leave evryone to make their own decisions about how to use the information.

Pete

"If we ban everything that someone thinks is a danger then we'll end up living on raw organic carrots and lentils boiled in bottled mountain spring water."

Yes Pete, but did you know that bottled mineral water is stored in warehouses for years before it's consumption, which leads to the plastic leaching into the water thus making it carcinogenic?

Bet you didn't know that.

Of course you could use tap water but then they add fluoroide to that which is a well known mind control substance. This is why everyone in Birmingham speaks funny.

So there ;)

Banned in the USA

Since the seventies in some states.

"Anyone who doesn't want to ingest it needn't do so"
And the vast majority who doesn't know they are being poisoned should just 'die off'?

"which leads to the plastic leaching into the water thus making it carcinogenic? "
Google Bisphenol A. Certain plastics are more dangerous than others. Not the same as aspartame. Different risks. Same product though.

The risk of leaching, gender bender, carcinogen material from plastics is much greater when heated. Eat and cook from glass, clay and steel.

Irony

Anyone else find it a bit ironic that a confessed caffeine addict is rallying against the addictive dangers of soft drinks?

God is an iron

>Anyone else find it a bit ironic that a confessed caffeine addict is rallying against the addictive dangers of soft drinks?

No, because that is what you would expect from a cigarette smoking cancer patient railing against cigarettes. Irony is when it is not what you'd expect, like it was ironic that Blair was elected on an ethical foriegn policy when he went on to kill millions of foriegners. That is ironic. Obviously irony is not the same as humour.
