Prison Picket Ascends into Full Blown Street Party

On the 16th of January 6 people broke into EDO MBM arms factory to try and prevent crimes against humanity in Palestine.

Two of the six are still in Prison one in Horfield on Saturday 21st of March between 50 and 100 people did two laps around the prison and made alot of noise, big up to all those involved.

It's good to see people deactivating weapons, but.... it's interesting how the anti-war movement is now almost exclusively focussed on Palestine. Isn't there still a little dust up going on in Iraq? Why doesn't this attract protest anymore?

EDO MBM make bomb release mechanisms for f15's and f16's used by Israel, Britain and America. They also have a joint contract with Raytheon for the Paveway 2 3 and 4 used heavily in Shock and Awe in Iraq and also used by Israel in Gaza. They aid and abet war crimes and need to be shut down asap

Iraq has not been forgotten. The decommissioning was a specific response to the Gaza invasion earlier this year but only a few days ago (night between the 19-20th) Smash EDO held an all night demo to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, at the same time as campaigners very in court for an action in response to the 5th anniversary of the Iraq invasion.

Please come down for a day of resistance against all EDO/ITT's crimes on the 4th of May.
