We were warned this could happen and we have been quietly gathering information
and forming a mobilisation which will soon bring results but the monkeys need an urgent
response now!
In the news article they talk of already having 100 babies, meaning the SFBR could be on its way to achieving the 75 monkeys a year it's hoping to take from this farm. The implications of that are that Nepal could easily become be another Mauritius, supplying precious Indian Type Rhesus Monkeys unavailable elsewhere, (even the existing American colonies are already inbred and dying out, hence why Nepal is so important to them)!
We are hoping to get an injunction to stop the exports, (at least temporarily), before we can launch a legal challenge in Nepal. The exploitative Wildlife Breeding Policy was drafted at a time of political turmoil in Nepal, and is the only law which still remains that was imposed in that era. We intend to challenge it's legality in a Nepalese court, to expose the monkey farm and hopefully force it's closure.
However finding a lawyer who can't be bought isn't easy in a country like Nepal and, with the American puppet masters pulling the strings to safeguard their $5M investment, (and more importantly it's potential dividends in the form of inncent lives), it's going to be even harder in this case. There will be a lot to do, and it will be expensive, but we can't give up on this!
We will be launching a number of initiatives and actions over the next few weeks, please organise and act as soon as possible also. In the last 2 weeks we have had protests in the USA, France and Germany, but now we need to push even harder. Mobilise and organise, innovate and liberate. Don't wait for us to provide all the initiatives, think outside the box and make it happen.
We are not too late, but time is running out fast!!!
Until all are free,
G2H
