Nepal's is out of the trade...all on Mauritius, or Thomas Cook should we say?

Looks like all these type of actions could be coming back now that Nepal have shown their weakness, I think it also helps that the campaign dismantles the supply for nearly all labs, not just a few based in the UK/USA (for example like HLS). This means that more activists are willing to get involved, as by the looks of things in Europe, militants are more sorted now with campaigns against the small time vivisection breeders and other labs, However, it all looks set to go back into mass direct action campaigns against the importers, airlines and airports. Close down the labs!

Whilst we do welcome the positive steps taken by the Nepalese government in banning the export of live monkeys, the animals are still caged and "biomedical", (or possibly "bioterrorism"), research is still being conducted in Nepal. Until the monkeys are released and all (non-conservation) research on monkeys in Nepal is ended the campaign will continue to escalate!

We are also considering our options with Mauritius, who are a very important target, although during campaign discussions we are sceptical about re-targetting Thomas Cook at this stage. We would welcome demos at the Embassy of Mauritius in London, although at this stage we are unsure whether we will pursue Thomas Cook or take another angle to pressure the Mauritian government.

Mauritius is now 3rd in the list of nations that export crab-eating, (long tailed), macaques behind China and Vietnam, (where virtually all the UK's monkeys are being imported from), and Vietnam is particularly sordid with the Nafovanny factory farm, faking CITES licences and facilitating poaching in neighbouring countries.

The primary focus for now is Nepal, although other targets will be announced soon. Our researchers are working like crazy to bring you the latest information and targets but in the meantime keep struggling for the animals.
Until all are free,
