Yesterday the campaigners of five years at Tara were visited and supported
by Ireland's Poet Laureate , Seamus Heaney and Paul Muldoon (Pulitzer Prize
Winner) :
To Protest the desecration of the Tara Complex by the current and Previous
Irish government.
This was presented in the Progressive Democrat Edited Irish Times as the
Poet marks Government Sponsored Heritage week- which is a crime of Ommission.
The poets decried the desecration for Profit of the Gabhra Valley and our
Government appointed editor of the Irish Times, and head of our Press Council
sought to twist the issue and propagandise it because in ireland we do not
mention the destruction of ecology nor the use of our airports for rendition.
In Ireland everything is green and Pleasant.
This week is 'Heritage Week', the councils and Local governments seek
to get people out to see our rich heritage, whilst people face danger in
Glengad, whilst mobile phones and emails are subject to data retention
and whilst those that protest the sack of the land are alienated,
mitigated against and brought before the courts.
Seven years of erosion of Laws protecting out heirtag, both natural and
built are combined with greedy money to make disneyland for kids
who are deprived daily of green spaces in the name of profiting a few
people. Local re-zoning inititatives and emphasis on tolled roads ,
urban sprawl and petrol-dependence have caused untold and irretrievable
destruction.
School children are encouraged to discuss and debate 'Green Movements'
and Global warming whilst witnessing the arrest and abuse of their peers
in Rossport and Tara.
In my time in eco-activism which extends over ten years I have not seen one
screed of law that protects our heritage, just rich councils providing
neighbourhood awareness issues on environment and huge budgets
going into suppressing dissent.
The Public sector is starved of resource and privatisation has created
an archaeolgical industry. The Green Party has adopted the eroded rules
and laws that have stripped protections and wonder why Green issues
are treated with such contempt, when mostly the young can see for themselves
how beaten people are ignored and violated by state mechanisms
of repression that advocate quick profit at community cost.

thousands of years of protection of a unique and undiscovered landscape
have been uncovered, mandate has been abused for profit and our
irish newspapers confound the issues by propagandising for
the current Coalition of Green and Fianna Fail.
Brendan, who is in the first image sang a call to arms to the protectors
of Tara. he has lived on the Hill for a few years and watched his colleagues
being battered by the police and ignored by the Press.
Boycott the Lies in the Irish Times ( it was only good for obituary and crossword
anyway)
