Demo in Oaxaca in solidarity with Zapatista Communities

Yesterday at 6:30pm a march from the Emiliano Zapata monument towards the Oaxacan Zócalo in solidarity with the Zapatista Communities threatened by the army the past 4th of June.

Arround 200 people marched in Oaxaca City demanding the exit of the Federal Army from Chiapas. Different collectives and groups from Oaxaca called out for this demonstration, such as: Comité de Presos Políticos de Santa María Ixcotel-Voces Oaxaqueñas Construyendo Autonomía y Libertad (VOCAL)-Universitarios de la UABJO-Colectivo Tod@s Somos Pres@s-Colectivo la Voz del Zenzontle-Hormigas Libertarias-La Otra Guitarra-Brigada Indígenas 94-FEMIN-OAX-Comisión Jurídica de la APPO-Comité de Defensa Ciudadana (CODECI)-Encuentro de Mujeres “Compartiendo Voces de Esperanza”-Colectivo Sexto Sol.
The provocations towards the Zapatistas are escalating, we need to show our solidarity and say once again: ¡Si nos tocan a un@s nos tocan a tod@s!
