Beekeepers report colony collapse,but Organic Honey Bees are doing well,though,,

Remember you maybe seeing honey bees about Ive seen one, but I dont know anyone who has seen the smaller honey bees who do a lot of the pollination. The naturally mixed african-european bees produce honey & may actually help save us, but organic is best.
Wether or organic or not honey needs to be rationed & organic honey bee keepers need subsidy & support by farmers & government+ration or stop having honey.

I Heard about the collapse disorder afew days ago, mentioned organics to BBC this morning organcic bee research & refered them to indymedia, after their paniced reports early this morning of bee collapses.

Autopsies carried out on CCD bees show a number of maladies such as mite and virus damage.
IAPV, the "Israeli acute paralysis virus" was confusingly named after where it was discovered even though it is an Australian bee virus. It has caused genetic damage in 90 % of CCD bees, and it's arrival in commercial bee imports coincided with this CCD event. [1]

Organic bee colonies are not dying off. One organic bee keeper explains this in terms of the size of the cells in commercial hives. Commercial hives have cells that are 10% bigger than feral hives, to produce bees that are 50% bigger . These bigger bees spend more time 'capped off' in by wax in as larvae, which is when they are vunerable to mites.
Even 'Organic' certification for bees allows the use of less toxic chemicals.

The Cooperative farms the UKs largest farmer reassures me they never use these types of insecticide. Local beekeepers at Stonebridge farm,st annes, nottingham tell me that giving the bees more room & treating them with care has saved hives.
