On Tuesday morning, Israeli forces invaded several buildings belonging to the Islamic charitable Association and Muslim Youth Association in the southern West Bank city of Hebron. The Army confiscated property from the properties.
Sources of the targeted associations reported that large forces of the Israeli army backed by armored vehicles and military trucks carried out a wide-scale military operation for several hours at the Associations owned buildings, offices and schools in different parts of Hebron city.
Sources declared that the military operation, confiscated equipment, documents, computers and other related items. The army issued military orders to close down the Associations transferring ownership of all offices and buildings to Israeli authorities.
Nablus, in the northern part of the West Bank, was raided on Tuesday at dawn.
Israeli soldiers detained eights residents, Seven of whom were late released, but Osama Makkawi the 8th of the detained ,was injured and moved to an Israeli hospital.
Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli army invaded other West Bank areas taking eight Palestinian civilians political prisoner.
The sources added that the army stormed Bethlehem city, in the southern part of the West Bank lunchtime there were minor clashes with local youth. The army left the city without serious incident.
In Gaza, the Palestinian National Resistance, the armed wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, claimed responsibility for attacking the Israeli military base in Gaza, called Sofa, on Tuesday morning.
In a press release, The resistance confirmed they shelled the military base using home- made shells. The National Resistance said the attack was a response to the continuous attacks of the Israeli military on the Palestinian population.
