European Foundation for North-South Cooperation; Yeshitela Addresses Congress in Spain to Redefine Africa's Relationship with the White World. On Africa Live this Sunday, 11:00 - 13:00 (11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.) U.S. Eastern Time, African People's Socialist Party organizer Nyabinga Dzimbahwe will talk live with participants in the European Foundation for North-South Cooperation's 1st International Congress, entitled "Africa and the West: The Need for New Relationships", held November 14 - 16, 2007 in Huelva, Spain.
African People's Socialist Party Chairman Omali Yeshitela was the keynote speaker at this conference, which was attended by African and European government policy-makers, diplomats, academicians and activists. Recognizing in their mission statement that, "millions of Africans share the same destiny, regardless of their home countries", the conference aimed to promote "mutually respectful relationships that will contribute to generating social and political changes that will improve the coexistence and development between the communities and people of the world."
This week's program will provide a discussion about the conference and a preview of next week's special program, in which Uhuru Radio's entire Sunday broadcast will be devoted to recorded excerpts from the conference and live analysis.

On Uhuru On Tha Move this Sunday, 13:00 - 14:00 (1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.) U.S. Eastern Time, International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) President Ivory Muhammad and Kobina Bantushango will talk live with organizers from the Brooklyn and Queens branches of InPDUM about building the movement to stop police murder and violence against Africans in New York City.
Protest at Philadelphia City Hall "Oppose 'Stop and Frisk' Policy in Philadelphia!" On Solidarity, Not Charity this Sunday, 16:00 - 17:00 (4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.) U.S. Eastern Time, African People's Solidarity Committee (APSC) organizer Harris Daniels will interview Alison Hoehne, Chairwoman of the Philadelphia APSC unit about the current campaign in Philadelphia, PA against the proposed "Stop & Frisk" policies of police containment of the African community.
