People on the borders see the difference this time, in comparison to prior repressions, is the lack of refugees. People are staying to up the pressure in different ways - the worlds PEOPLES need to match this pressure - there are paid "opinion-influencers" trying to get this OUT of the news. Most of the Thai or Sngapore trade with burma is also little mentioned - yet THESE places are FAR more cautious about their "public image". . . .
USA bluster seems nominal, alleged "economic measures" seem a sham, so far, as people WITHIN the USAs "global democracy support" funds - often suspected by campaigners here, for loads of good reasons too, are IN FACT complaining that this support is kept utterly token - theres more cash for, say, a deregulatory breakfast club in india in comparison to that for burmese democracy!
