The gist of that was in the papers that all got set light to after the war in that odd incident in Baker Street. Very "irregular" . . . . but that "cover up", if thats what it was, is blowing open too (see tecent news re old burnt PRO docs getting looked at using lights at the ends of the tunnel (corners of it, in actual fact - its a science thing that they are doing in Wales using the X-rays from the Accelerator - they are also looking at the dead sea scrolls other fragments. Stuff or nonsense? All stuff, in actual fact!
After ww2, the groups of people that thought they were "stuck on the other side" of the new cold war walls (that seemed to get thrown up oddly fast, in retrospect - ????) were often semi-forced - often, with some of the dodgiest criminals of their old nations - into the employ of the dodgiest machinators in their new "host" nations - sometimes - they were told - to work for the defence of that new nation from external "or internal" "threats". . . .
The "WACL races" caused a load of people to wonder what was going on - playing "coup" games in south america, or the middle east, DID seem, THEN TOO, a very short term way of seeing security, peace, good for the world etc. In 1945, in the "far east" too, this pattern - of the "secret" bits of entire nations loyal establishment - often with much of its own integrity intact - forced to do dirty jobs - or enforce others doing those dirty jobs - for decades - always told - a few more years then we get you home. . . .
This pattern seems to have a recurrence that might explain a bit of what is happening these days - with a few new-tech twists to old spins - if you remember the fact that people were often told the group "em ploy ing" them was different to the people that were, in actual fact, doing so. These days, the pattern seems to include the creation of economic disasters in peoples "home" nations to use the lure of escape, or cash to rescue loved ones at home, to get a few "lucky" types "migrating" to get used against other people indifferent nations.
Sometimes people are told a load of "hustler-conperson-school" spin, or that they are "new superspys", mutating legends vary but the scam remains the same. SOMETIMES there is actual fact to it - despite the weirdness - but there is almost always a LOAD of distortion, bullshit, scams or "speel". . . . people were sometimes put into the actual "units" that people had told them they had already joined, then "run" from outside that group.

somebody doing a bit of research into relations that "served" the defence of the realm in odd ways in ww2, perhaps saw the odd things that happened on the way to the sixties after OSS. . . .

The actual bio - or as much as the USA Army could allow, was released after a FOIA request from "APB" - then a campaigning, prize-winning internet news outlet. ( Taken over soon after - with the waters then much muddied by confusionist-seeming "research" )
He was a colonel in the pay of Egypt, having done degrees in psychology etc, did "special training" at Bragg in '81, then, despite getting refused entry to the USA by State, appears there again in 86 . . . . as sergeant, does 3 years always claiming combatpay - despite denials he was out of the fort at all - then 5 years reserve. According to the Federal Trial records of the WTC truckbomb plotters he was, over that time period, pushed up the "ladder" to end up as a trainer of OBLs bodyguard, but also the person that showed the sketches of the USAs embassies in Africa to OBL for him to yay or nay.
But who got him into the states, who recruited him, who was - in actual fact - running him.
Usual suspects are the "state bogeypersons" - but - remember the "rotten apples from old 1950s/60s "secret" ops . . . . oil or arms corporations employ these people too, they get to shake a lot of slushfunds. . . . why the SFO came across one of the "british" arms trades slushfunds a few weeks back, "...to run networks" THEN, for some weird reason said it wasnt going to follow it up at that time. Back at "home", it seems that loads of other people that, retirement pension going less far these days, etc, had thought getting a bit of extra cash-or-payments-in-kind for odd (dodgy) jobs was a way out of what, in retrospect - seems almost a deliberate sequence of "bad news" things, debts or odd "calamities" ("little"seeming things)that almost seem to have got designed to get people to lose their pride - but later could almost have come from a "textbook" of "running people for less but getting THEM to take the blame".
Worst practise, after PPP subcontracting etc, is cheapening people VERY fast - with computers putting the exponential acceleration into the equation as much as some of the weirder twists, as somebody from the industry was explaining in a recent "lobster" report -(amongst the more sober of the researchers places to get new information about the 1920s or 1930s as much as the 1980s!).
