Anthony Brenton, the British Ambassador in Moskow, took a part in the extremist conference "The other Russia". During his speech he noted that "forum "The other Russia" was promoting the development of democratic society in Russia", he pleased the facists audience anouncing that the UK government was supporting them by giving 1 million pounds per year in order "to help Russia be richer, stronger and more independent".

During his speech he noted that "The civil forum "The other Russia" was promoting the development of democratic society in Russia", also he pleased the facists audience anouncing that the UK government was supporting them by giving 1 million pounds per year in order "to help Russia be richer, stronger and more independent". The activities from Youth Democratic Anti-fascist Movement NASHI (Ours) were outraged by his act. According to NASHI's opinion, supporting such "democratic" initiatives is nothing else but action against Russian State, in a country that won fascists at the price of almost 30 millions it's fellows. One month later "NASHI" picketed the Embassy again. They gave a letter to the UK Ambassador appealing for his apology on the current two weeks - otherwise NASHI will picket the embassy without a time-limit. On the 4th of September they started picketing the embassy perpatually - until the Ambassador would to apologize in public. One of them - Tihon Chumakov - stood at the UK Embassy with a sign demanding the Ambassador to apologize for giving fascists moral and financial support. The student was beaten at the Embassy's doors. He and his friend was promised to be sluiced with petrol and burnt. The activists didn't leave him even during his movings along Moskow. Nowadays while picketing the embassy every day, the activists give Anthony Brenton his opportunity to apologize.

In spite of the russian government's protest, on the 11th of July You officialy took a part in the extremist conference" "The other Russia". You made a speech for Hitler's and Beria's admires Limonov and Anpilov, a criminal land plotter Kasianov, a chess-player Kasparov, and other "official" persons.
As the UK Ambassador You announced that "the civil forum "Different Russia" was promoting the development of democratic society in Russia" and that was the very reason for You "to accept the invitation to be a part of it". Also You made that mob pleased by anouncing that "UK government supported them by giving 1 million pounds per year in order to help Russia be richer, stronger and more independent". Also, You pointed out that UK was proud of doing that. Looking at the audience of facists and stalinists You said that "We want Russia to be prospered". According to that we want to remind You that there are many of such "democratic" societies in each country. There's Ku-Kluks-Klan in the USA, IRA in Britain and "Hizballa" in Lebanon for example. We wonder what will You say if the Russian Ambassador in UK meets IRA's activists, makes a greeting speech and promises them to be supported financially in order to make the UK be stronger and more independent? The answer is clear to everybody. Does it mean that Russian diplomats are more honest and more respectful than You? Or maybe You think Russia will stand each humiliation covered with words "independence", "tolerance", "prosperity" and "democracy"? Being an official You were a part of the mob, one of that believes that the worst and darkest years of totalitarianism was the best years for Russia, and the other one speaks openly: "I'm a facist", "russians are stupid dumbs, humble slaves", "it's necessary to wound stony russian souls. This is a task for mass killers, children rapers, civil war, Hitler's invasion". Even the opposition and liberals didn't find it possible to chear them. And You did. It means that You agreed with everything they believe. Being the Ambassador in Russia You'd better know what kind of years were those of totalitarianism and fascists' invasion. Are You aware that in each russian family there are miserable people after repression and prisoners-of-war camps, people who were killed in the environs of Kursk, Warsaw, Berlin, Prague? Don't You understand what a big price Russia paid for the Europe liberation from fascism and totalitarianism itself? Can't You understand that Your act is the rudest humiliation towards our country and our people? Off course, You know that. And You support fascists and totalitarianism follows. Off course You understand that. And you are proud of giving money to them. You're aware of that. And You name those loosers and freaks being on remand "a part of democratic society". Criminal offenders, gangsters and terrorists which are on the run are carefully covered at Your native land - for example Zakaev and Berezovskii at least. You probably mixed up Russia and Britain if You are not ashamed at all of supporting fascists and criminal offenders in public in our country. Believing that we'll stand it. Believing we'll swallow it. Considering us to be Halbeman, as Hitler used to treat us. We don't let You. We demand apologies from You, Mr Ambassador. For everything You had done. For that outrage You made towards our people, our country by supporting the fascists, thieves and totalitarianism follows. We'll receive Your apologies in public. If not - we have enough possibilities to speak Your position out among the diplomatic association. And also among those who share the meaning of words "honour", "conscience" and "respect towards the other country and it's people", in contrast to that "independence" and "democracy" You covered Your act.
