pacing up down up down corridors void of stimulation with shit in their pants
Shite – a natual product – dried in – solid – matter – of - fact.
nhs shite leaves a lot of stinky desire for something better. Bevan wouldn’t be impressed.
And it’s not natural – At present I’m complying with an apparently non-existent system that treats our mentally ill older patients like shite.
The majority of nhs mental health nurses that I’ve worked with are bloody amazing
intuitive, caring individuals
the minority equate those that sit reading tabloids toying with their mobile phones oblivious to the shite. They’re only there for the dosh, cutting a crust that is denied them elsewhere – consciousness is an elusion.
NHS CUTS forcing ward managers, modern matrons and the like to cut back on what?
my ward hosts a marvellous new wide screen TV, recently acquired new tables for the dining room but still the patients wander aimlessly with shit in their pants. There was money for the TV and tables but none for staff.
a ward that’s home to a myriad of wise, beautiful individuals lacking a quality of care that they fucking deserve.
pacing pacing - blood seeping from a 6cm gash above his right eye
caught it on the fire extinguisher on the way down – never complained! Because he has no voice no relations no friends to speak on his behalf (patient taken off 1:1 care due to NHS CUTS - a[nother] suicidal patient had taken 1:1 priority).
My mantra for last month, this month and the next is ‘I’ll be with you in a minute’!!!!
I’m a good person, intelligent, caring and committed to providing an excellent service and I can’t – not enough support and staff.
I don’t want to follow the norm so I’m leaving the job, leaving the patients that need me & not cos they’ve got shit in their pants…
