The American occupation forces (AOF) in Iraq at dawn Sunday stormed the Palestinian refugees' residential compound in Baghdad known as the Baladiyat amidst intensive firing of live bullets and sound bombs at Palestinian apartments.
The AOF troops "savagely and provocatively" rummaged through the residential units of the Palestinian refugees using hound dogs, according to residents.
They said that the campaign, which came only hours after the USA vetoed a UNSC draft resolution condemning Israel over its massacre in Beit Hanun in northern Gaza Strip, spread fear among the unarmed Palestinians as the AOF soldiers broke the furniture in their "barbaric" search and reportedly stole money and women's jewelry.
The sources told PIC that the "aggressive operation" ended with the arrest of nine Palestinians including three women.
They said that Palestinians were enraged with the humiliating way the AOF troops treated those arrested especially the women, who were driven to the army vehicles under gun threat.
Last month the so-called Iraqi "Death Squads" launched an attack on the same compound using projectiles and machineguns inflicting many casualties without any intervention on the part of the AOF.
