In that strange inverted land called America politicians who tell the truth risk ridicule and reprimand; John Kerry has been attacked by the opposition and members of his own party for stating the truth regarding the intellectual capability of some military personnel in Iraq. 'And they all screamed foul' – only in America!
Let’s take a quick tour of some of the known facts that led to the Iraq ‘intervention’:
Weapons of Mass Deception, uranium from Niger, mobile chemical weapons labs, aluminium (atomic) tubing, 45-minute attack capability etc – ALL LIES!
Americans continue to jeopardise their personal safety in defence of corporate greed and the profit of the few. The truth surrounding the circumstances of the invasion of Iraq has been known for a considerable period yet some continue to serve and die for corporate greed and exploitation. Who would risk their personal safety for a bunch of lying criminals and murderers? Kerry may be guilty of botching his lines but the result was Truth, judge for yourselves:
Kerry’s actual statement: “You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”
Kerry’s prepared text: “Do you know where you end up if you don’t study, if you aren’t smart, if you’re intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush.”
To compound the insanity of serving as cannon fodder in Iraq, the world is now faced with the tragedy of approximately half a million civilian deaths as a direct result of an illegal invasion.
The results of not confronting reality are ALWAYS catastrophic, whether on a personal or national level. The most dangerous lie of the moment is the fiction that we have approximately 10-15 years to rectify global warming – WE HAVE LESS THAN SIX YEARS to cease polluting and begin reversing the causes of global warming. It can be done but it would require honesty, integrity and cooperation from the world’s major polluters.
There is nothing more to say except perhaps, we are all doomed!
