- THE TWO CORPORATIONS involved in the biggest criminal scam exposure - so far - for decades - BOTH saw jail sentences for "high-ups" yesterday - BIG news - that didnt hit the news. Discussions for talk programmes, easy ways to explain some of the flaws in the structures of the "stupid" economy -but - it aint "left" - its sense- allsorts of people see.
A bumper sticker somebody saw someplace said "minderbinder is neither republican or democrat" - a refence to the catch 22 "war racketeer" character from "catch 22" - somebody that leaves "iou" messages in parachutes when they have taken the parachutes, or bombs "his own" troops - if that sort of crime-that-pretends-its-a-company HAS a homeland or community to have loyalty to.
The sort of "economy" that SHUTS DOWN californian power stations to "create a scarcity" shows the extent that "economic rules" have got - stolen - DISENGAGED from actual waste, good production maths, etc.
Call it "DEREGULATION" if you want - (despite attempts to blame the labour chancellor for it - the pensions disaster is down to the "cityoflondon"s "deregulation of the 80s - serious commentators accept that. For the same equivalent contributions as you put in in 1996, we get 1/3 the amount of pension. But we all have to work years extra - even the "poor" that die faster. Progress?

- of course - all the time , anybody that points out that it got much less cunning after it got to putting toxic/nuclear waste over earthquake faults in third world nations, even "Indian reservations" in the USA, or getting kickbacks to cover-up bio-tech "mishaps" so that "red tape" didnt add costs to corporations that got played off against each other - every minute - as the same ways thar journalists got encouraged to "look the other way" were used to affect "investors" - - - - why, "whistleblowers" - even people that warned of disasters or had solutions - were easy to portray as "reds", or "green-nutters" or "extremists" ( even the Royal Society !) - if that didnt work, the old "phoenix programme" books could get brought out, some "secret" tech misused, or some unwitting other sort of sub-contractor involved as a "cut-out" . . . .
- except - squashing the lookouts doesnt melt the icebergs.
