Israeli Troops Arrest Palestinian Legislators and Ministers

I would not be surprised if Israel/Mosad have set up the kidnapping of the Israeli soldier as an excuse to come down heavy on the Palestinians. It is the oldest trick in the book to set up a false pretence to go to war, just ask Tony Blair and George Bush.

It is IMPOSSIBLE to make the accidental mistake of using positive language when describing one group, and negative language when describing another. The technique is ALWAYS used to slant the readers opinion one way or another.

Now this is not normally significant, since the slant and the intent will clearly match in most cases. The exception, of course, is when one is reading articles in the Mass Media, or disguised Mass Media, as here.

The authors of this piece are WELL AWARE of the language trick. However, they are also well aware that their target audience is different from the BBC or The Guardian, so they are more cautious again to disguise their real intent. However, their intent is IDENTICAL to the BBC, ITN, etc etc. If they DON'T use psychological control language, they will actually be hurting their own cause, that of Israel and the racist thugs that support Israel.

Notice the sickening trick used here? What did Ismail Haniyya actually say? Well the only bit in quotes is "complicates the situation”, but most people, with standard to above average reading comprehension, would actually assume that all the words INCLUDING THE WORD ***ABDUCTED*** were said by Haniyya- the ABSOLUTE intention of the person that wrote this piece.

The KIDNAPPING of a large part of the ELECTED government of Palestine was, of course, co-ordinated by by Blair's twisted racist monster, Jack Straw, who worked tirelessly during his time as Foreign Secretary to have all powerful Palestinian groups declared outlaw throughout the EU. The UN laws that allow people to fight against those that invaded their lands, and rape, torture and murder their people, were TRASHED, when in a racist show of power, Straw joined with his zionist brethren at the heart of the French, German, and other European governments, to declare open season on muslims in ANY MUSLIM LAND targeted for racist extermination by Israel.

The consequence of this? Israel may carry out ANY CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY IN PALESTINE with the complete approval of the EU. Any EU national may commit ANY crime against the people of Iraq, if acting on the side Of Blair and Israel, and be completely immune against prosecution either in Iraq or in the EU.

If you think more clearly, you will understand that Israeli crimes against humanity are to be masked by Israeli supporting crimes against humanity in Iraq. This can be thought of as the 'cult of bloody hands', or the way in which really dangerous gangs of criminals induct new members by having them perform witnessed acts of extreme violence, so that all within the gang are bound together with the blood of the innocent.

For Straw, Mandelson, and Goldsmith, the mass extermination of Muslims by UK forces and political/military support for US forces ensured that they had made the most powerful and influential nation in the EU a very public and very permanent servant of Israel. The reality is, of course, the very opposite, with Blair as the master, not the racist tribe of Israel. The pathetic evil that attaches to those that support Israel provides Blair the easiest of levers with which to control the actions of his proxy forces from the US. Blair's very public backing of the most depraved Israeli crimes may seem problematic, but that is a misunderstanding held by those that hate Blair's evil, and are thus highly sensitive to it. Most people experience an understanding through the Mass Media that Blair controls totally. At times like this, the mass media buries the story as much as possible (completely removed from the most racist of BBC news broadcasts, namely the RADIO 1 news segment- ASIDE while most of you will think news on Radio 1 is a contradiction in terms, the psy-ops that goes into this broadcast is extraordianary, and the pay-off, given the size and nature of the audience, is considered magnificent by Blair's people), and when the story can't be buried uses the old "six of one, and half a dozen of the other" trick (ie., both sides as bad as each other). Those news outlets that tend to draw a well informed audience have to appear somewhat outraged at Israeli behaviour, but do so to use the 'steer into the skid' tactic where mock empathy allows the audience to be taken to a much safer position for Israel.

THE CURRENT ACTIONS OF ISRAEL ARE EVIL BEYOND ALL REASON. There is no matter of opinion in this statement. Therefore, when reading ANY report on the current situation, look for how the article treats Israel. Of course, given that Serbia and Apartheid South Africa at their worst had absolute support from the government of this nation, and you will be fooled into thinking there is nothing wrong with excessively 'passive' reporting of the crimes against humanity carried out by certain nations, because that is the journalism you are used to.

I USE A VERY SIMPLE BENCHMARK. If I ***KNOW*** that an article is discussing evil actions, I expect the tone to be anything BUT passive, especially if the person writing the article is aware that the evil actions are never punished or reduced, or if 'our' people or 'allies' are responsible. IN OTHER WORDS THE ARTICLE MUST SEEK TO DO ACTUAL HARM TO THOSE CARRYING OUT ACTS OF EVIL, BY EXPOSING THEIR EVIL FULLY.

Bias of the very worst kind is automatically attributed to those that report evil as if they were talking about the weather.

An article that begins "Israeli Troops Arrest Palestinian Legislators and Ministers" literally sickens me. ISRAELI TERRORISTS TAKE MOST OF THE PALESTINIAN GOVERNMENT HOSTAGE" would seem mildly acceptable.

Now I pose the usual problem. Indymedia UK wants to 'pretend' to be a certain thing by seeming showing an 'anti' position to recent Israeli actions. However, no-one is going to confuse the official language of this site with, say the words of Dahr Jamail when describing Blair's crimes against humanity in Iraq. Do they consider the changes they made some time back to 'hide' comments like mine until explicitly user requested enough? Or is it time for the "we can't risk it, giveaway or no giveaway, Blair really needs words like this removed" censorship?

I disagree with twilight on this one. I think it's better if news is reported without any emotion whatsoever. If it is, then that news organisation can't be taken seriously as they've taken the position of a propaganda piece. The last thing I want is to turn on the news and be treated to the sort of hysteria that twilight screeches all the time.

When the state army goes to a house, takes someone out, or stops them at a checkpoint and drives them away, and holds them in a prison, that's an ARREST.
