Moses identifies his God in Exodus 15:3 – interesting description to say the least. Moses is either a liar or his God is a bloodthirsty God of War. There are numerous references in the text confirming without doubt that the God of the Old Testament is a murdering sociopath suffering from an unquenchable blood lust. Numerous verses and passages offer incontestable proof to that effect but there are none better than the story of Jericho. Jericho stands as the oldest record of premeditated genocide. Kill everyone regardless; men, women, children and suckling infants.
Joshua 6:
21"And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword…24.And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD."
Jehovah advised or countenanced deception ["Ezek. 14, 9; Num. 14, 30-34.]; stealing [Ex. 3, 21-22.], selfishness [Deut. 14, 21.], conquest by force [Num. 31 et al.], indiscriminate slaughter [Ex. 32, 27.], murder [Deut. 7, 16 et al.], cannibalism [Jer. 19, 9 et al.], killing of witches ["Ex. 22, 8.], slavery [Lev. 25, 44-46.], capital punishment for rebellious sons [Deut. 21, 18-21; 13, 6-9.], sacrifices of animals [Lev. 1, 14-15.] and other acts (infanticide and genocide in Joshua) which represent the concepts and actions of primitive men.
One man’s God is another man’s sociopath, to each his own! However, a problem arises when aberrant sects attempt to identify the prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, with the sociopathic God of Moses. This insane claim (made by Evangelicals and Christian Zionists) is a perfectly preposterous proposition. Two disparate characters as ‘singular sameness’ reveal a departure into unreason, illogic and mental disorder in those who blindly accept the absurd as reality – therein lies the irrationality of religion and religionists.
Religion is the irrational displacing the rational and if the world is to survive religionists should be removed from any position of responsibility or influence. Could you imagine the ensuing chaos and horror if a religionist became President of the USA?
I cite the above as introduction to the commotion surrounding the obvious work of fiction, “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown. Christian organisations are in an uproar over the implications that their God married and had a family etc. These are the same groups who actually believe that Jesus and the sociopath God Jehovah are the same character! It is far more credible and rational to believe that Jesus performed the usual human acts of procreation than subscribing to pathological unreason. Dan Brown’s fiction is at least in the realm of a literary genre, whereas the religionists are ‘out there’ having tea with Alice.
But as analysts we should at least decode some aspects of the cultural pathology that finds its roots in the dis-eased minds of religionists.
Referring to a story in the Old Testament (in context) and drawing on the above quotes, we ask, why would Moses, the leader of a released group of slaves entering a new land identify his God as a God of War? Could it perhaps be related to the need to arm, fight and survive in an already occupied land?
Like most leaders Moses was a pragmatist. The imposition of social regulatory codes designed to unify a disparate group is prerequisite to the formation of any society/nation. Moses’ success relates directly to the previous experience in Egypt; a theocratic society with a God-King as centre of power provided the perfect model. Moses exploited an existing ideological imprint and created a variation on a theme. However, faced with a hostile environment his theocratic indoctrination resulted in an extremely hostile and merciless, ‘do what I command or I will kill you’ type of God – a God of necessity, a God of War! Jehovah becomes a God of expediency, embodying strictures needed to regulate and formulate the new society! The magical (miraculous) elements were added later, notwithstanding Moses had a few tricks up his sleeve – the result of his privileged position and high education in Egypt.
If a personality profile of Jehovah were made using forensic methods of today, an extremely unstable and very dangerous emotional mess would be the result.
Viewed from a broader perspective all societies face the same fundamental challenges. The planet and everything on it is a free gift, the result of universal creation. No group or entity could claim ownership above another. The Jews of the past solved the ‘ownership’ dilemma by killing anyone who threatened their livelihood (according to the convenient dictates of their God). This savage behaviour is expeditious, pragmatic, materialistic and self-centred. There is nothing miraculous involved. The so-called miraculous events were all inserted after the event. A privileged education is not lost on the moronic masses.
The problems we face today were faced by our barbaric ancestors and the same (violent theocratic) solutions have been adopted to resolve the ownership question. When human groups vie for limited resources a number of outcomes/solutions are possible. Adopting the violent theocratic option is perhaps the most primitive and is indicative of a base mindset and violent disposition. Antiquated savage ‘solutions’ employed in today’s world no longer resolve conflicts or settle differences. The religionists are actually the principal problem in the world, they have no claim to tenure in any civilised society. The complete eradication of all religionists is imperative if the world is to survive in Peace and Harmony – this is self-evident.
The need to organise and order society results in the formation of Laws or taboos etc; the reader would notice that all religions are saturated with regulatory behavioural codes or ‘divine’ Laws. However, it should be stressed that these laws and codes were strictly applicable to a historical context and local environmental conditions, which may not apply to the majority today. In fact, these codes and other associated behavioural constraints have become a liability in today’s world. The old religions are antiquated – God is dead, or more accurately, never existed outside the mind of his creator, Man!
The fuss generated by a work of popular fiction relating to another work of theological fiction is typical. A familiar distinction between the opposing ‘camps’ becomes apparent; it is the theological camp that displays more violent and threatening behaviour. All religions today worship the same anthropomorphic God of bigotry, hatred, greed and violence – show me your God and I will show you your psychopathology. Show me a religionist and I will show you a hypocrite of the worse order.
Cowardice is at the heart of every religionist.
It is to the brave Lovers of Peace and Harmony that Infinite Life will bestow the enduring essence of Itself.
We are ONE.
Peace.

Jesus is a mentor and God is Nature

Many people will be misled by mentors from time to time hence they change mentors over-time to religions that seems more palitable!
But at the end of the day or in the 'grand scheme of things' God, religion is Nature!
How does your mentor relate to Nature or God?
If you're unhappy with the results then find a more meaningfull mentor....
Religion is a mentor's teaching here on earth and God is our Wonderful Universe.
You only have to see how the lords pray works to understand Jesus and his teaching!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen

Did Christ want?
Christ wanted to nurture nature in my book.
If Christ did want something in my book he'd have wanted you and me and everyone to Nurture Nature.
Just like cradling a baby in your arms.
If you nurture all things great and small then a cradle swings below us nurturing us as well.
Other than that example Christ in my book asks for nothing. Those who preach otherwise don't give you any other message from God!
And because people try to tell other people other things that God wants then that is why they fight about whose type of God they should follow!

Give them their religion and their God that is what supports our survival but lead them by example!
Spare the Rod?
We all know the phrase from the Bible that says spare the rod and spoil the child. Does this mean hitting them? Is there another meaning that is possible here? An advisor of mine whilst I was Children’s Commissioner in Tasmania, who was preparing for church ministry, said that her interpretation of the Bible allows us to consider these statements from a non violent perspective. She said that the rod in the Bible referred to the shepherd’s rod. This shepherd’s rod had a crook in it which was used to hook onto the sheep to prevent them from straying, to contain them. I then realized for myself, that the rod was not the staff that the shepherd also had, that I believe was used to beat off wolves and other predators. My own reflections also lead me to this conclusion, as my favourite Psalm, Psalm 23 states that the Lord is my shepherd and that His rod and staff will always guide me and be my comfort.
The rod is to steer me to paths of righteousness with the rod to protect me from harm. Neither of these were there to harm me, and this concept of a benign and loving God, who like a good shepherd was devoted and faithful in looking after his flock is commonplace in the Bible. I humbly and respectfully offer you this alternative way of viewing some Biblical statements as matters for your consideration, to show how it is possible to parent without any violence, but with guidance, care and love.

He said when God died he left a little bit of himself in everyone, now what do you want to be?
