‘The Iranians must not be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons for the simple reason they will use them. However, the nation (USA) that screams alarm loudest and leads the push against Iran will itself use nuclear weapons in order to stop another nation from using nuclear weapons (huh!)’
If you detect an absurd logic or a double standard you know you are dealing with America. Nonsensical and contradictory information constantly fed to the public inevitably has a negative impact on traditional cultural values. If the values of a society are under attack (directly or indirectly) the result is weakening of the complex forces that maintain social cohesion and order. What is the fate of a nation whose leadership constantly attacks and subverts the values upon which it was built? Should anyone be surprised when approximately six hundred thousand protesters converge in the streets of LA?
Future unrest tends to dwarf previous expressions of dissatisfaction; the present administration offers an opportunity not seen since the British colonial period; a clean sweep of all government, Democrats included, and a return to the founding principles of the nation.
Is it possible for a phoenix to emerge from the ashes that was once a thoroughly corrupt America? Perhaps, but that phoenix might glow in the dark!
