More images of "March for Free Expression" Protest

It's my job to shoot what is in front of me whatever that may be but for the record those “guys” did not disrupt this protest. The police “walked” them away. The remark "teatowl brigade" is low and does not help.

What is the point of this protest? To piss off Muslims? With all the free speech problems in this country, you feel the need to have a go at those who dislike the publication of inflammatory materials by right wingers? Nice.

Did you know that, in Denmark, free speech isn't as all-pervasive as you would like to think? The Danish state has been busy, on the one hand promoting the publication of inflammatory materials that provoke Muslims. On the other hand, it has been arresting Left Socialists and forcing the removal of materials from left wing Web sites that promote the sale of t-shirt bearing the acronyms FARC or PFLP. Why do you think that is - because they are defending free speech?

I see from the other post that you are already attracting the support of the BNP. Really nice.

Well they are low people.... like the National Front???? Plus they do not help Islamo/West relations.......

I was not part of this protest, I'm a photojournalist and member of the NUJ and my aim was and is to report. I posted this and the anti war photos last week here for just that, to report on what is going on.

You have mixed me up with the protesters of this event and even the BNP!

As you do not know me let me make things clear. I wrote this before the protest on UK_Left_Network  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/UK_Left_Network

"Without a doubt the Freedom Association is a very nasty anti working
class and anti trade union far right group that over the years have
tried to build a social base for there right wing ideology. The
Freedom Association has attacked the rights of workers to be in a

that has seen any of the BBC Four documentary's lately on that period

I can see that having freedom of speech is important, but do you honestly think that the freedom to unnecessarily offend a religious people expresses an opinion of any value whatsoever? What does this protest hope to achieve? Is it aiming to make Muslims worldwide realise that a belief their people have held for millenia is just a pile of old bollocks, and that they should just learn to take a joke... even if it IS blasphemy?

Honestly people will protest about anything these days... I never thought i'd say this, but 'Get a fuck'n job!'. What's next? Protests for the knighting of Sharon Osbourne?

...didn't grasp what your role was in publicising this event. Some captions might have helped - something like, "right-wingers baiting Muslims in London" would have made things clearer at the outset. All previous comments redirected at the people in your photos, rather than the photographer.

Point taken Kropotkin's Kat and yes a better context from me would have helped.
